It was a full moon and clear sky, the clops of hooves could be heard. Fireflies buzzed and glowed everywhere, and the gentle breeze made the grass sway in all angles. Though the fireflies weren't the reason why the night didn't seem so dark, it was none other than Sayena, with her vibes brighter than any star. Though, it was such a peaceful time that she didn't dare to giggle at all the night life that flew around her. Though, she couldn't help herself and eventually she started to hum a nice tune, every once in a while landing an off-beat, as she wasn't really humming anything in particular. Tee-hee-hee~! She closed her eyes for a moment and stopped humming and trotting, just enjoying her surroundings. Though she liked daytime better, night was... special to Sayena. Like she got connected with her inner peace.
Sighing, she continued on, picking up where she left off with her humming. Happy happy joy joy~! She yawned, and decided to take a break from humming. She was tired, and songs seemed to make her even more drowsy. A nice tree to nest under for the night would be nice... she thought, trying to keep her eyelids open.

Slowly venturing around at night, curly tail just skimming over the grass, the striped stallion roamed aimlessly. Tohopka didn't know why, but he preferred to be up at night and sleep in the day, to much dismay of his two-legger and sometimes his daughter. Besides, he hasn't been away from his teepee in quite some time anyways, so it was great to stretch his legs out, no matter what the time of day was.
Letting out a small chuffle, he ventured further into the clearing, fireflies starting to flutter around him. A few of them accidentally landed in his two-toned mane as he walked, but eventually managed to untangle and fly off again. Getting even further, he noticed a silohette in the distance, dimly lit by the light of the moon. His orange eyes could make out the shape to be another horse, gender was a different matter. That would be answered as he got closer, so with a flick of his tail, he casually just returned to his stroll.

Sayena tilted her head to the side slightly as she thought she saw two shadows. Her own and... wait! That wasn't a second shadow! New friend~! Without giving a second that she happily trotted over to the other, hoping not to come off as too strong in her personality. "Hai there~!" She called to them, "I'm Sayena, what's your name~?" Now that she knew there was a possibility of making a new friend, all the sleep in her eyes had disappeared. Yay yay yay~! Hm, stallion, haven't met many of those.~ Her short tail flicked about happily as she resisted bouncing over to him.

As he got closer, it seemed that he was spotted. It didn't make much difference to him, not minding company in the least. At least, he didn't have to put all the effort in meeting this other. As the other got closer, his orange eyes could finally see that it was a mare that was joining him.
When he was close enough, he stopped and bowed his head to her, a bit lazily, but he was no where near bored of her, that was just how he was. "Hello, it's nice to meet you Sayena, I am Tohopka." He replied. The pink striped mare seemed a bit bubbly, but that didn't bother him in the least, though... not much seemed to bother him anyways.

She repeated his name with a little nod. "Tohopka." The name rolled off her tongue and she repeated it her head a few times to remember it. Though, better yet there were nicknames! Sayena blinked a few times, putting on her intense thought face, "hmmmm... Tohopka... Mind if I called you... Toko, or sum-tin like that?" She smiled a small giddy smile, her eyes twinkling, trying to contain her playful giggles, though unable to hide her aura of sun-shiny happiness.
Sayena just couldn't help but plot a bit while waiting for his answer. He seemed kinda dull so far... perhaps she could bring out the hyper in him!? Oh yes, she did need some hyper friends. MEntally nodding she set out on her quest.

The striped stallion just watched as she repeated his name, curly tail giving a lazy flick behind him. He quirked a brow at the look on her face as she mentioned calling him Toko. "You can call me whatever is easier for you." He answered her simply, not caring what he was called, though no one has ever offered to give him a nickname before.

"Yay~!" Smiling she looked left than right, "so what are you doing around here~?" It did seem like quite a nice place, perhaps he was simply enjoying the scenery? Or he could be lost. And that wouldn't be very fun. Or could it? Hmmmm... She flicked an ear. Wait... was she lost? She never really could tell where she was... So being lost must be fun, yus. ...Wait, what was my question~?

Tohopka shrugged softly at her question. "I'm just taking a walk really, no real reason for being at this certain location." He told her gently. He then canted his head to the side softly, and asked. "What about yourself? Have you any reason to be out here, especially so late at night?"

Sayena blinked, thinking for a moment just in case she was doing something and had forgotten, before shaking her head, "nope~!" She wagged her short tail happily, "I was just on a little trot as well. I have no sense of direction, so I hope if luck has it I might wander back home before it gets too late." With a short giggle she looked about, "but I sorta hope I don't find my way back, yet. Such a nice night, isn't it...? Could waltz forever.~"

The striped stallion watched her as she seemed to drift off into thought for a moment before nodding his head to her when she had told him that she too, was out on a stroll. When she had mentioned that she had no sense of direction, he tilted his head slightly. "Doesn't it worry you that there's the possibility of you never getting home?" He asked, a small tone of worry in his voice.

Sayena smiled then shook her head, "home is where the heart is, and I'm quite sure someone can't lose their heart unless they went through a lot of emotional pain~!" Nodding her head her curls bounced. She had, didn't she? And she came out peachy-dandy! Yus yus yus.~ Closing her yes she would provew it, "home is..." Slowly she pointed with a hoof in a direction that sure quite felt like the right way, "that way~!" She was quite confident that she was correct. If not, she had plenty of other direction she could try! :3

Tohopka gave her a skeptical look at her comment. "Yes, but that's only a statement. The heart isn't what recalls where your home really is." He stated softly, tilting his head softly. He then watched her point her hoof in, what seemed, a random direction and claim that her home was that way. Looking back to her, he quirked a brow. "How can you be sure?"

Sayena smiled and paused as she continued to look in that direction, before turning her head back to him, "you can never be sure, no matter what you do. Life is about risks, isn't it?" Shrugging, she began to skip in the direction she pointed, humming to herself happily.

He blinked at her comment, but soon shrugged at it. "That may be true, but life isn't about the risks that might lose one's life either." Yeah, sure, perhaps her getting lost wouldn't cause her to lose her life... it was just a cautionary statement. With a small flick of his tail, he followed after her, trotting so he could catch up.
