(Other than Shige-san of course) (From Koharu's :Koharu Nikki: Photobook, the most recent one... but this? What is this? Left overs of Gottsan's old H!P career?  From Maki's "Foxy Fungo" Photobook  Did I space out for a couple years or... what is this? Am I the only one who sees the similarities... I mean, granted, I'm not a huge fan of Kusumi... Maki could pull this style off pretty well (minus a few PVs *cough Some boys! Touch cough* but Koharu... this just seems ***** I just psycho? What do you guys think?

Yeah... those pictures just kinda annoy me. Koharu is NOT sexy there. She looks like a little girl trying to fit in by wearing clothes that she'd normally never wear (Although I do like her expression in the second picture... but she could make that expressions in a much better outfit, right?).

That image doesn't suit Koharu AT ALL and I think it's a really bad direction for her, no matter how well the PB sells. v-v

It does just seem really wrong seeing Koharu like this! Her image is nothing sexy in the slightest. I don't think she has the face for the kinda image? Not saying she's ugly but she pulls of cute really well just not uber sex queen? lol

I'm so glad I'm not crazy (well, this time anyway) it reminds me of when little kids dress in their parents clothes and they look too big and it makes no sense...
it just confused me to no end... hence the thread...
@WaHi-kun: I agree, I don't think this is even a realistic direction for her... her face just doesn't work... also...isn't her audience like 5-9 year old girls??? (thinking Kirarin Revolution) It just seems a little (or a lot) wrong to do that...

Sex sells though doesn't it Masa....Even thought she can't pull it off a lot of the men in Japan will love it and there we go rakes in all the money. Wonder what the kids think of it though? Doesn't suit her image at all...Silly Koharu!

I think that Kirarin has a good chance of losing sales from this; at least the sales from children, because it's really the childrens' parents who'd often buy them, right? If they ever find out about this Kirarin might lose a lot, which is too bad. Then again, they might not care. (!?!?) Or not find out...
Either that or it makes enough money from wota to survive. =3=''

The Kirarin singles are already selling poorly (seriously, look at the sales for Papancake! eek )!
Also, it always seems to me that Koharu has funny hips/stomach. Like... like her stomach just sort of goes right into her legs, with no real hips in between.

But Koharu just looks awkwar, and I'm sorry, but those fishnets do nothing for her (IMO anyway) It just looks like she needs heavy make up on or something, otherwise it just looks odd (to me anyway) The pictures aren't bad, I'm not saying that, it just doesn't scream 'sexy' it's more like 'little kid awkwardly trying to be sexy but failing' midnightfur I think that Kirarin has a good chance of losing sales from this; at least the sales from children, because it's really the childrens' parents who'd often buy them, right? I agree with the shorts comment, the hips comment (Where are they question ) and the fact that she needs heavier make up to even stand a chance of pulling this off. I think the picture of her face sideways is slightly better then the full on frontal face shot. Her fishnets are just ugly? I have loads of sexy pairs, they look trashy and cheap?
