I need some Oragel or something. I would go to the dentist, but it's expensive.
I'm hoping my pain goes away by itself.
Yay semi-pointless thread.

And do some Internet research while you're at it.

How about drop the Oragel and take some pain killers?

Xumbra And do some Internet research while you're at it. Why would I want to do Internet research? Does my original post sound stupid?

No, it doesn't sound stupid. Research helps out a lot.

Oh, okay. [/paranoid]
The pain's gone down a lot. Though, I'll need to test it by eating on the same side with the tooth that hurts. (I think it's more my gums, so it wouldn't be too bad if I did that.)

Perhaps you really should go to the dentist?

All of mine are gone. They took 'em out before puttin' braces on mah teefies, so's they wouldn't come in and mess up the hard work the braces were doing.
I typo'd doing as dong. Just an FYI.

I had five teeth removed in one sitting. All of the wisdom teeth and a baby tooth that neglected to become loose and so was merely pushed aside by the permanent one.
Things like that were why I needed braces. My teeth were horrible. I don't have any photographical evidence of this because I usually didn't smile in photos before and ones that showed the teeth disappeared mysteriously.
I got two months of hydrocodone (Vicodin) for it. Waaaaay too much.

Lord/Quixotic : Ouuuuch. gonk
I'm not sure if I have wisdom teeth or not. I haven't been to the dentist in over 6-7 years. But, my teeth haven't been really giving me much of a problem, overall.

See, in beerland, in order to keep your insurance valid, you're bound to visit the dentist once every 6 months.
And tooth repairs are so expensive without insurance, y'know.

Despite the pain my emerging wisdom teeth are giving me, I'll keep them.
