Yes, I have rolled my eyes, thought his music was dumb, un-origional, and immature. But I have never wanted to slap him, I haven't ever cared enough to. While on the boat ride from Denmark to Sweden, I was reading a Revolver magazine with an article about SlipKnot in it. I read these things from cover to cover, because a 4 hour boat ride isn't exactly a good time.
Anyway, basically SlipKnot are working on a new album...I think. and when they were interviewing him his comment was "SlipKnot is back and there is a f-ing thing anyone can do about it."
Uh, last time I checked, they had a HUGE fan base, awards, mutliplatinum albums, and I see slipknot shirts everywehere I go. Was there ever a revolution to stop slipknot from coming back? Was there a petition or a ban? No.
What grands my gears more than anything, is someone trying to be tough and play it cool. Like he's such a bad boy. rolleyes He knows darn well a bunch of 15 boys are going, "Hell Yes!" to that comment.
It's ridiculous, he's a joke. Anyone with that much fame, shouldn't have to say something like that. It just makes him seem like more of a loser than he already is.

Slipknot never left...? And, in spite of wailing and snarling and gnashing of teeth on the part of just about every true metalhead, there really isn't much we can do to stop them from releasing their new stew of mediocrity, and likely selling shitloads of it. So best of luck in achieving undiscovered, dizzying new heights of jackassedness, Corey.

Yeah, I remember hearing something long ago, about him saying Slipknot wasn't going to last long, and he was going to focus on stonesour. Now he's saying they're an unstoppable force?
