WE TOTALLY BE RANDOMIZING UP OUR FIELD NAO~!
A large screen towered over the stadium. A spinner with twelve different battle field locations displayed on the screen, waiting to be chosen. One of the trainers jumps to the control room and presses a big green button to start up the spinner. The screenshots of each battlefield light up as they are passed by the spinner. Finally, the light stops on a picture of a forest...
THE FOREST FIELD!
Thick trees sprout at random places throughout the field, some small while others seem to reach out and touch the ceiling of the stadium. As with ancient trees, some roots are seen being thrust above the ground which makes easy for a pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. The ground is littered with piles of pine needles, leaves, and sticks of all sizes; several tree trunks and rotting logs can be found scattered around as well.

Kazuki stepped onto the west half of the field, eying the massive forest and the amount of vegetation in the arena. If he didn't know any better, he'd think they were in the middle of a forest, and a random assortment of walls and concrete just so happened to be placed there. "You have to be extra careful here, Ryou. Make sure you know where all the tree and stumps and logs are, because I can't see all the way through."
"Breon," the dark-type agreed as his eyes glowed blue, studying the field through his trainer's eyes. He dropped the vision and trotted over in between two trees, his eyes still glowing as he focused on the location of every obstacle in the arena, and waited for Jaidev.

Pippeh stared in awe at the trees that were standing in front of them. She wanted to go for a walk now! As she thought of walks in the forests and by ponds Jaidev was already heading into the forest. A loud growl from the cubone brought the trainer back into reality. "Oh! Sorry Jaidev!" She eyed the field and knew that Bonemerang would be impossible to use horizontally. The stratagies were forming in her head as she waited to start.

Kazuki looked up at the large screen above the stadium and grinned, seeing Pip on her half of the stadium with its help. "Hi again Pip!" He waved, hoping she'd have sense enough to look up at the towering screen above them. If not, oh well. "You and Jaidev can go first!"
Now why in the world would he say such a stupid thing? The dark-type growled; oh well, nothing he could do about it now. He trotted over and hopped on top of a stump, focusing in on the cubone's aura. He would not lose this time.

The purple-haired trainer managed to look up at the screen in time to see Kazuki. She waved back to him real quick with a smile not knowing if he'd see it. Jaidev growled again irritated that her trainer was more focused on the surroundings rather then the battle. "Oh alright Jaidev." She said with a nod as she first thought of what to do. "Be careful out there but while you're out there why don't you try Double Kick!" she said starting the battle.
Jaidev ran through the woods carefully hunting down the umbreon. Once she spotted him she leaped at him with her feet kicked out hoping for a good hit. She would not be brought down this battle if she could help it.

Kazuki winced a bit, seeing random tan flashes through the trees, assuming that was Jaidev. "Be careful Ryou! Let's start out with a confuse ray!"
The dark-type waited until the cubone got close enough before he jumped out of the way and onto a nearby log, before casting a blinding light in front of himself, hoping to confuse the ground-type pokemon.

Jaidev gave a loud growl as she missed the umbreon. She manged to move out of the way to miss the confuse ray completely. There was no way she was doing that again! "Try double kick again Jaidev!" Pippeh called out hoping her cubone could hear her.
The cubone leaped once more at the umbreon with feet aimed in the air knowing she was going get get a good hit this time.

Unfortunately for Ryou, he wasn't quick enough to fully dodge Jaidev's second attack, and her foot grazed his side. He growled at her, teeth bared, and flashed another confuse ray at her, hoping it would work this time. If not, he was going to be one angry umbreon.
"Uhmm.." The blue-eyed teen stared through the trees; he'd already lost track of his own pokemon, not knowing if the confuse ray had worked, if the cubone had landed an attack... But obviously the first confuse ray didn't work, as he saw a second flash go up. Hopefully this one would work...

Jaidev managed to once more miss the umbreon's confuse attack. The cubone refused to be confused again. It had been painful the last time! Pippeh worried as she tried to peer through the forest. Oh if only she could see! "Try Toxin!" she called out hoping Jaidev was doing well.
The cubone released the toxin and aimed it at the umbreon. Maybe Ryou shouldn't try confusing the cubone.

The dark-type let out a yelp as the painful toxic...whatever hit him, but thankfully it didn't do much damage at all. He growled and pinned his ears back as the aspear berry Kazuki had given him earlier glowed slightly with a dark blue aura, and he released a powerful beam of ice, aiming straight at Jaidev.
Kazuki jumped as he heard the ice attack being released, realizing that Ryou had used natural gift. He was glad the dark-type was used to doing these types of things on his own from his time in Inhinx, as he certainly couldn't see well at all to tell him what to do.

The cubone managed to miss most of the ice but was still hit in the tail Jaidev gave a growl before turning back to the other pokemon. She decided to do things on her own now as she could barely hear the trainer saying anything as it was. Leaping up from the ground she kicked out both of her feet aiming for the umbreon once more.
Pippeh on the other hand heard the crack of ice and put her face into her hands. She couldn't watch this anymore!

"Natural gift again!" Kazuki shouted, hoping Ryou heard him. He probably didn't even need to say anything, really; he knew the dark-type would be fine on his own. Still, he couldn't help but worry about him.
"Bre!" Ryou shouted, jumping away from Jaidev but not before she managed to kick his leg, and he snarled at the cubone. He leaped into a tree branch, a ball of pale ice forming in front of his forehead, and he shot the powerful beam at the offending ground-type. She would not best him this time! He would make sure of that.

Jaidev landed hard on her tail as she fell backwards from the blast of ice. Oh that stupid umbreon! The cubone growled angrily as she tried to figure out now what to do now that the umbreon was in a tree. Pippeh on the other hand still had her head buried in her hands. She made a very poor trainer at times.
Releasing the purple toxic once more the cubone aimed it at the tree hoping for a succesful poison and revenge for the ice.

"(Missed me!)" Ryou taunted the already growling cubone as he leaped easily to another branch in a different tree, completely avoiding the poisoning attack. He probably shouldn't be aggravating the ground-type, but after their last battle, he felt it would be alright to do so.
His tail whipped back and forth as he smirked at the bone-clad pokemon, before another ball of ice formed in front of him. With a cry of "Bre!" he released it, shooting the beam straight at Jaidev.
