Now before you get over-excited over a TMNT2 coming out, this is what Steve Murphy has to say:
Quote: Now don't get all hot and bothered by this pic because it honestly does NOT mean anything in terms of a sequel to the TMNT CGI film (any official announcement on that front would not be coming until the end of September, possibly maybe, if at all). What you're seeing here is a large framed print delivered to Mirage yesterday by Imagi (animation studio of TMNT). No note accompanied the picture, so our assumption (mine, anyways) is that the image was an in-house "inspirational" piece of art that would have accompanied a specific story pitch for a potential sequel, art that Imagi - for whatever reason at this point in our relationship - decided to send us as a gift. In and of itself, every picture tells a story. This one seems pretty clear.
Sure looks awesome, though.....

*trys to compose self, trys to compose self* Yeah, thats really not working. OMG! OMG! OMG! I know they said don't get over hotheaded but come on this is news that us turtle fans have been waiting for and judging by that picture, if they go by it looks like the second movie may actually redeem the first CGI one. It would be cool to have the turtles go back into their original form at least for a little while and with that one of Mikey being in his normal state, that means more Mikey time! OH SHELL YEAH BABY! And the fact that news of an actual sequal coming out in Sept. (the month of my bday) will make this one fangirl very very very happy indeed. *prays for a sequal*
