This is the first time I've ever followed the Olympics so closely. Currently I'm very into the swimming competiton (I have it recorded so I'm a bit slower than everyone else).
Phelps and Lochte... *drools*
I was really hoping that Lochte would overtake Phelps but he ended up coming in third place... major disappointment.
On the bright side their butterflies were beautifully executed, and the back stroke *drools again* but all breast strokes looked a little weird to me for some reason.

US might be tied with China.
But that's only 'cos China's too good for Bronze.
talk2hand
I'm like, totally betraying Canada right now. xD But screw them, I'll root for them in 2O1O.

You know what's hot? Gymnastics. Is hot. <33
&& that Chinese girl's shooting today was rather good too~
@t0shi - we're winning 'cause it's counted mainly by number of golds~ <3

Oh whatever. rolleyes
Ben Foster, Mark foster - they're both sportsmen. And I'm not even really into that stuff.
And for the record, even though I've pretty much deserted my homeland in every respect, I'd still like to see china come top. Cos we do kinda rock and people should know that. razz

I'm torn between supporting China or rooting for Australia. Both of them have tugged my heartstrings. On the one hand, China winning the most medals overall would be an awesome achievement, but on the other hand, I still want Australia to come in the top 5 like it did in Sydney and Athens.

China first, always China first. But Australia will do fine as well. Did you watch the Stephanie Rice race? She was like a whole freaking body ahead of the world record! But I also loved that 14 year old Chinese kid in the last lane int he same race, she looked so tiny and still had a baby face! whee

Tom Daley? My friend met him - she lives in Beijing but is volunteering for Team GB so meets the athletes and stuff - and says he's just.. a really normal little kid xDD didn't do that well in the diving today, did he? But I reckon it was more his partner's fault than his. xP
