I was thinking about making a cosplay website anyway, and the biggest feature would be tutorials. Problem is, I don't know how to make a website that looks good and it's so time consiuming! eek But if someone ever asks me how I made something that is more simple than 2 steps, I will probably make an illustrated tutorial. I was thinking about doing one for those big anime bows (like on Sailor Senshi costumes) and my Puchiko cat ears.

I was thinking of in-forum tutorials, but a website would be good.
What kind of problem are you having with designing it? I know HTML, some DHTML, and a little JavaScript. I can help if you'd like.
We could just document the step by step construction costumes we are making or have made to help others make theirs.

I guess I could do in forum stuff and post pics though! Another thing I think would be good is one for a sailor top! People are always asking how to make the collars and a lot of costumes call for these!!

It comes with ImageReady; you can use it to make gorgeous navigation and ImageReady will let you put in the code and make the page for you. It's not great for text heavy content, but you can use it for interfaces.

Oh, this sounds like a good idea! If only I had some experience... sweatdrop I, too, know HTML, but only the basics... and while I can make a pretty nice site, it wouldn't be too advanced and, like it was said before, the process is time-consuming. Right now I'm making a website for my Anime Club! sweatdrop Well, I look forward to seeing the future tutorials! 3nodding

Zrana http://www.livejournal.com/community/fm_alchemist/1354477.html that's my attempt to tell people how to make Automail for Edward Elric. Techniques can be adapted for other armor thingies... And here's my guideline to turn a turtle neck into Envy Cosplay (also from Fullmetal Alchemist) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v138/Zrana/gaiasilly/cosplay/fma/envy/envycosplay.gif Posted! By Friday I should have a tutorial posted in the thread on Chi ears. (It'll include 16" dolfie sized!)

Destruction Pancake I'm not sure if this counts as a tutorial, but it's a pattern to Edward Elrics coat. http://www.bakachan.com/cosplay/coshelp/patterns/edcoat.htm Also yet another Elric automail pattern. ^^;; http://www.bakachan.com/cosplay/coshelp/patterns/automail.htm The site also include many other helpful patterns. and detailed photo help. Like Zabuza's sword and the Chuunin/Jounin jacket.. thing. http://www.bakachan.com/cosplay/coshelp/ref/naruto/equipment.jpg Up! sweatdrop Ok...Chii and Petticoat tutorials are in various stages of completion pending my moving back to the dorms. So it'll be at least a couple weeks before I'm settled and putting them up.
