My floors won't fall until my character gets off them.

Visible: true
Depth: -3
Persistent: false
Parent: Floor
Mask:

Alarm Event for alarm 0:
set the gravity to .3 in direction 270

Step Event:
if at relative position (0,-1) there is object MarioP
set Alarm 0 to 10

Your problem is in the step event

Step Event:
if at relative position (0,-1) there is object MarioP
set Alarm 0 to 10


Try thinking like this... at step 1 MarioP jumps onto the platform and at step 3 he jumps off...

Step 0:
MarioP isn't on the platform so nothing happens

Step 1:
MarioP jumps on the platform
Alarm0 is set to 10

Step 2:
MarioP is still on the platform
Alarm0 is set to 10

Step 3:
MarioP jumps off the platform
alarm0 isn't updated so it starts counting down

A solution could be to make an "if alarm0 is -1" before the other if in the step event...
