STORY EVOLUTION
Welcome to the story evolution game. I don't really like the name, so help me choose a new one. PM me. This game is a lot like the all familiar RP stories that so many interactive writers know and love. However, as a change this particular RP is a game in which you can earn points which ultimately lead to prizes and gold.
I will give a setting and a situation. Players will sign up by jumping into the story, and immediately afterwards PMing me to notify that you have joined the story. I will add your name to the list and continue to tally your points so that you and other players can view your point progress.
There is no need to post or PM me a character profile because you can control more than one person and are better off introducing the character at some point in the story when it is relevant. At the beginning of the story, characters either don't know each other or can team up with another player and decide to share a history together. In this case, you can share information through PM's. If you choose to use an existing character of yours, it's fine as long as he/she/it fits the setting (time period/location/etc.).
The story ends when I say it ends, yet you will have the ability to hint toward an ending; I may or may not throw a curve ball to contradict that ending.
You will take turns adding to the story. If things are slow, you may post a maximum of three posts in a row (solo). If only two people are active, you may only post a maximum of five replies (per player). After these maximums are reached, you must recruit another player (mules are not allowed) to join and break the posting streak, resetting the post and reply maximums. Each post must add to the plot or description of a situation. As in all RP's, god-modding is not allowed. At points in the story I will throw in a random noun (person, place or thing) or situation which may or may not fit the story or direction the story is going. It is up to you to incorporate this element into the current story within the next five posts (total, not individual). Make sure this element fits into the story, no random out of nowhere crap.

ALLOWED: Tesla grabbed an apple from the tree and tossed it playfully at Jen.
NOT ALLOWED: Suddenly, an apple exploded in the desert sand.
Cussing and violence in the story are allowed but please keep sexual content to a PG-13 rating. Fighting outside of the RP is not allowed. Please try to keep out of character chat to a minimum or take it to PMs.
Points will be given by PFF. She will award you points based on your participation (1 point per post) and contribution to the story advancement (point range is 1 to 10). Bad grammar and mis-spelling will not dock points as long as myself (and other players) can understand you. If I'm confused or a player is confused, please edit your post to explain it better. I don't feel like doing this.

You must follow this format so myself and other players can understand you better. This helps to keep confusion to a minimum.

Font color is not an issue as long as the style is followed. DO NOT change font colors when using different characters. This isn't necessary and is never used in real books.
