One day you're walking down the streets of Barton and you stumble upon a book. You pick it up, partly wondering why someone would drop a poor little book into the middle of the street. After dusting the cover off a little you find that the title says, How to Revive a Guild. How to Revive a Guild? you ask yourself, That reminds me of a place I visited long ago. A guild about some French TV show I saw on Cartoon Network one day.
In a burst of memory, you recall all those splendid episodes. All the moments that made you laugh, that made you sad, and that made you jump up and down, screaming at the TV when it went to commercials.
In a rush to converse with others about your fond memories, you return to the guild to realize... it's empty. You look around at the dusty sub-forums, the unfinished word games, the remains from guild events of long ago, and you suddenly ask aloud, "What happened here?! This place was once full of discussion and life. Where did it go wrong?"
Just then you recall the book you found on the street. You pull it out of your pocket at look at it for a moment before opening to the first page.
"I'm going to do this," you tell yourself with determination, "I'm going to be the one to return this place to it's former glory."
Didja like my intro? I think it's fitting. *nodnod* So, now that I've epicly openned this thread, I say to you, reader, why not reply?
Reply to this thread with your fondest guild or Code:Lyoko memory. It's the first step in reviving this poor place.

Well, to explain my absence... I blame video games and Castlevania.

@Luminario and Hershey_Cutie: Aww. That's actually rather sweet sounding to me. Whether it's because I just woke up is beyond me. *shrug*
@SoraMee: Heh, Castlevania. I'll have to get one of those games eventually (though I'll probably fail at it).

I blame Shin Megami Tensei Persona. It's this addictive new game I got... I logged 50 hrs in the first week I had it. It's thematically simmilar to Lyoko (students by day and warriors by night), but it's set in a Japanese High School instead of a French middle school, it's "Shadows" and "Tartarus" instead of "Xana" and "Lyoko". Oh, and all your spells and special attacks are triggered by having your character shoot themselves in the head with a magic handgun called an "Evoker". Yeah... seems out there.
Didn't mean to go all tangent on you there. But that game's caused me to halt everything else I'm doing. (This is the first time I've touched my computer in two weeks.) I should be done with it pretty soon though, and when I finish it, I'll post some more Infinite Crisis.
As far as my favorite memory goes, it's definately all the praise and support I received back duing Code ANGEL. It gave me more confidence in my creativity and abilities that I could get IRL, and that confidence has been a big shot in the arm ever since, giving me what I need to stand up to some people who had been bullying me and to truly speak from my soul rather than simple reiterate the popular opinion people want me to. I really haven't thanked you guys enough for that... I hadn't truly thought about it until just recently. So thanks. And if more Infinite Crisis can draw people back, I'll try to pry myself away from Tartarus and get back on my keyboard a little more often.

@Zaber: No need to explain Persona 3 to me. I watched all a playthrough online. That game looks epic and would definately have been bought by myself if I had a PS2. -_-"
It's nice to hear a story like that. Support is something everyone needs. ^_^

I just had an idea for new Subforums
Library: When a fanfic is written the author can go here and post it all, without being broken up by comments.
Trophy Room: Memorable threads can get added here instead of piling up in the forums and getting deleted.

Luminario I just had an idea for new Subforums Library: When a fanfic is written the author can go here and post it all, without being broken up by comments. Trophy Room: Memorable threads can get added here instead of piling up in the forums and getting deleted. Hmm... I guess that'd work. The "Library" might not be useful to many people though as we really only have one active writer. The "Trophy Room" would solve that guild clean-up problem you were talking about.

Well, the Writing class can be renamed into Library. And the Art Class can become Art Studio just to mix up the language of them.

Role-playing as XANA and Xandra.
I don't consider Project Xandra a memory because I fully intend on continuing. It was just about to get good...

Azana Brown Role-playing as XANA and Xandra. I don't consider Project Xandra a memory because I fully intend on continuing. It was just about to get good... Role-playing was definately among my best guild memories. I'm happy to hear about Project Xandra, too. biggrin
