Keebee is going to France soon. This thread is her going away party. She'll stay in contact over there, but.... I just think that we should have a party for the hell of it! Rock on! We got French Toast, French Vanillia Ice Cream, French Fries (which are from Belgium), and some actual french food! Congratulations Keebee on your brave and totally awesome step in life! I just know you'll love it there. Now, lets get the party started, and feel free to make fun of the British. Yay! blaugh Time to break out the cheese_whine

Hey, the legal drinking age in the US is 21. No wine for you Neko. In France the legal drinking age is 16, except for hard liquor then it's 18. In Albania there is no drinking age limit. Same goes for Bosnia and Herzegovia... but I think I'm rambling now. Quick let's bust out the pinata! Spain is close enough to France, so I got a Pinata! It's full of candy and firecrackers! YAY!!! blaugh

Bonjour tout le monde! Je suis en France! (Hi everyone. I'm in France!)
How's everything going? Here it is sunny! It's 7:15 pm here, so around noon-ish eastern standard time. I just got internet today even though I've been here for more than a week. Service just isn't the same. Still, it's very pretty for the most part and everyone is really nice. I don't have any pictures up yet, but as soon as I do I'll share. Just want to thank everyone for giving me all the good lucks, etc. =) I hearts you all. Random things you might want to know: today's topic FOOD! No peanut butter. None at all. Nope. They have ketchup, but it's not as popular and sometimes hard to find. Kebab is disgusting, and not on a stick? They eat horsemeat. 'nuff said. Really do drink every night. Don't card you. Beer is around 3 euro (5 dollars), wine is about the same, anything with hard liquor can range from 6 euro ( 9 dollars ) to 15 euro (22-ish dollars). But I can get a complete meal from the cafeteria for 3 euro. So I'm not drinking a lot/ at all. Went out twice. That was good enough. Also, they don't drink a lot. Just one or two over the course of hours. Lots of sitting and chatting. The drinks are just there. They do indeed love cheese, but it's easy to avoid.
American brands I've seen: Pizza Hut, Dominos, MacDonalds, Cheetos, Pringles, Sprite, Coca-cola, Fanta, Heinz ketchup (actually.. is that american?), Dove soap... I'm sure there are more.
That's all for now o___o;

Hey guys! NEWS! I found peanut butter! You have to go to paris to get it, and it's six dollars for half a pint, but it does exist! Also, went to Claude Monet's house yesterday! Omg! Had to take two trains, a bus, the subway, and bike six miles to get there! You know the painting Waterlilies he did? Well There's the river where he saw them! Oh, do you know the painting Haystacks? Got to see those too! ^-^ It was absolutely gorgeous there! The gardens were amazing! Hope everything is going well back in the States. I've been watching the thing about the economy and the debates. The Bailout plan looks like it's really going to screw everyone over. I hope you are all doing well, anyway! Don't forget to vote! heart The persocom in france >.>; xD
