If everyone hates George Bush, how did he get elected into office, twice?

Not everyone hates him. Its just the people who do dislike him whine loud enough for everyone to hear.
We'll get a new president soon and people will begin to cry and complain about them as well. Its a never ending cycle.

Psychologically speaking, people enjoy having a leader in position onto whom they can project blame for situations that go wrong, thereby relieving themselves of blame and the guilt that goes with it. Thus, nearly all leaders are elected as a result of their approach and the similarity of their beliefs to those of the electorate, as you would expect, but most leaders are not respected or applauded until after the closure of their time in office.

No.
Like gigglygal just stated, elected leaders become scapegoats half the time.

Personally, I don't really care about the government. I know that taxes are getting too high. I know that fuel prices are rising. I know that pretty much every buisness is laying people off because of one reason or another. I'm not going to blame anybody. Because, truth is, everyone's at fult.

I have plenty of legitimate gripes about Bush but it frightens me when I see people who harbor a blind hatred of him and make ridiculous claims. In the end if people see that you're that closed minded then it could hurt your credibility and other might be lead to think that you'll believe and any criticism of the president regardless of whether it is valid.
It's like that old dude in that Bush or Batman video. There mere mention of Bush's name nearly had him foaming at the mouth. xd
