Slow day. That was all to it. Dinyin's life changed from relaxing and ejoyable to boring. Excitement was what he needed. Or perhaps something new. How about...running? Nahh too much effort. How about some food? The good grass patches were over there. His usual spot was sure cleared out since he layed there almost every day. Under the tree, by the rushing river was where his favourite spot was. "Boy, I am lazy." A yawn reached his mouth. Just at the end of the mouth stretch, a fly happens to have found a way in before he could shut it. Dinyin felt a disturbance in his mouth. Like something moving...then a mmmmzzzzzz sound. "What the---" The lucky insect flew on out of whatever he had flew into. Dinyin, realising what he might've swallowed, sprang up and rand to the river. Drinking water and rinsing his mouth over and over. "I cant...arrbligghh....that I....arghblighh almost ate that thing! Hatoo." The stallion made his way back to his usual spot and layed down. "Not the kind of excitement I had in mind."

Uni trotted slowly towards the river, looking for a cool drink and a spot in the shade. It was not a terribly hot day, rather mild infact considering it was the middle of summer, but still enough to make her retreat to the shade until the sun started to set. She stuck to the treeline as she made her way towards the river, she had learned early in her life that her pale coat made it easier for her to burn in the sun, an unpleasent experience to say the least. It wasn't long before she heard the rush of the river, and saw a stallion not far away from it, apparently talking to himself. She sped to a faster trot, eager to get a quick drink of water, and greet this strange stallion, she wasn't one to assume you were crazy just for talking to yourself. After very quickly getting a drink of water, she made her way over to the tree he was laying under. "Hello." She said, standing just outside the shade of the tree.

Just as he got back to his comfy, and still warm, spot, something new did happen. A soquili just appeared and took a drink. However this was no ordinary soquili, she had a horn and a rather unique tail. Dinyin liked the horn. It wasnt long after seeing her that he had to snap out of his gaze because the mare had said hello. "Uh, hi." Never in his life has he seen a soquili like this. Was it rude to ask what is she? That did sound rude. She'd probably eye him curiously and greatly label him as dork. Best that he kept his mouth shut. Or maybe he can find out, as long as he plans out his words carefully. Standing up to level himself with the mare, he smiled friendly and took a quick glance at her horn then quickly flicking his eyes to hers. "I'm Dinyin. Your horn is...quite attractive." He wasn't sure how to compliment it. Dinyin might've used the word 'cool', but that'd only make him sound like a fool. Reputation did somewhat matter in his life. Clearing his throat he gave a nervous smile. What if he said something unfriendly by accident...would she try and kill him with that horn?!

Uni watched as he got up, he seemed friendly enough, a bit odd though, but nothing she couldn't handle. Though she was quite unsure how to react to someone complimenting her horn, she had never had any compliments about it, and figured she was a rather ordinary unicorn. "Thank you." She said after several seconds of thought as to how to address it, and decided to leave it at 'Thank you'. "I am Uni." She added with a smile, flicking her tail behind her as she still tried to figure this stallion out, it almost seemed as if he had never seen a Unicorn, which seemed a bit odd to Uni, she didn't think her kind were all that rare.

Curse him for being so lazy, maybe if he wasn't, he would know what kind of soquili she may have been. His eyes could barely keep off the horn, fearing she would kill him if he makes any wrong move. Clearing his throat again, perhaps it was best to let her know he had no idea what she is. Looking down, he noticed her hooves were different as well. They had slits in them. What is she? Dinyin also noticed that the sun wasn't friendly with its rays today, even when the temperature was so-so. He saw that she was standing outside of the tree's shadow. "The sun is unkind today, would you like some shade?" Shifting over to make some room for Uni. "So..what brings you out here this evening?" Slowly Dinyin's laidback feature started flowing back in. Focusing on the rushing river, he forgot all about her kind.

Uni had noticed him looking very intently at both her horn and her hooves, which she thought was a little strange, considering most didn't pay that much attention to them. When he offered it, she shifted slowly under the shade, until most of her body was under the tree. "Well I am always out, I rarely stay in one place for more than a day or two. So what brings me here, is I suppose just to get a drink before I find another path to take." She said as she looked off into the distance to an area she hadn't been before. "What are you doing here? Do you live here?" She asked after a few seconds of silence.

Dinyin smiled at her and stared into the river. "Yeah I live here. Right where you are standing is where I spend most my nights sleeping." He chuckled a bit. Then sighing as the image of the river blurred. "You...." he wasnt sure how to approach the subject of asking her, "...are very different from regular soquilis neh?" He looked up and looked at her horn, to hitn what he meant. Smiling friendly as he turned back to her. Dinyin started feeling more comfortable seeing that she has not yet attacked him and he doubt very much she would now....or would she? He shook his head to rid the bloody image and simply smiled at her.

"I am just an ordinary Unicorn, I never thought I was that different." She said, her head cocked to one side. 'At least I don't think I am so different, maybe I am.' She thought to herself. "I think there are plenty of other Unicorns out there, I don't think we are that rare." She added.
