Mortium's Painting and Modelling thread
Well, I was told that I needed one of these, and you know what? I do.
Simply enough, it's a painting and modelling thread. Here I'll keep up to date all my current projects, as well as some finish pictures and other such things.
Note that I don't have many pictures up yet, and I plan on taking a lot tomorrow and using them. Well, I say that now, but hopefully I'll keep my word on it.

Potential Projects
This is everything that I own and have either not completed or just not even started to work on. Some things just require a few models to be painted, whereas others require intensive amouts of work, including assembly. I'm likely not going to put up any pictures unless they're requested.

These are all of my unfinished projects that are not only partially done, but I'm actually going to work to complete them in a timely fashion. This doesn't mean they'll be done soon either, but hopefully within a few months most of these things should be replaced by other projects.

The lense effect happened naturally, and I think it gave it an air or realism. l l lA couple of pictures of a Tau camo scheme that I like, not very good pictures though. l l l This is a Thunderbolt that my friend made from stratch and sold me when he got out of 40K.

Made a couple of updates, so there should be pictures of a few units up there, but it's too late now for me to take any more. I should be able to spend the time and take pictures of everything later this week. DarkElf27 I see you borrowed from my thread's layout. wink I looked at everyone else's before I even started to make my own. I think it fits well for what I want out of a painting and modelling journal.

*whistles appreciatively* nice!... now i want one... im starting an army of renegade guardsmen soon (along the lones of the FW Renagade militia models) and i could do with one of them. seeing as i will do the army with the guard list, i could use a renegade thunderbolt couldnt i?

Technically the Imperial Navy is completely seperate from the Imperial Guard, so they don't "go hand in hand". However, they are the ones who most often work together. As a roundabout way of saying it, yes. It wouldn't be the corrupt Guardsmen who got control of the plane though.

I've started modelling this, mostly out of greenstuff. I took an old model, labelled "GK of Tzeentch" on the little slot on the bottom, from 1989, which was 021907 of this page here:

Anyway, I clipped off his horns and started modeling greenstuff around him, adding his cloak and I've just now started adding in the basics of detail. It's going to take a while, and a lot of work.
I took some pictures, but it just looked like a big glistening green blob (even the ones that weren't blurry gonk ) so I'll just wait untill I have some more detail and a coherent form to show you all.
