Anyone watching them? See the opening ceremonies?
So far, I think it's amazing. =) I've missed the beginning before the walk of the athletes, so I'm looking online for them, but what I've seen is amazing. I was crying when they raised the Olympic flag. <3

when did opening ceremonies start? Because I thought it was supposed to be like at 7 p.m. central they started.

I was at work for most of the opening ceremoines. Dx I missed all of the art proformances and I'm really ticked about that. I wanted to see 'em. >3>
But I saw the rest. WOW it was amazing!

I've been out of town, so unfortunately I've missed the opening ceremonies. But I'll be watching as much of the competition as I can, especially the swimming. I've been an Olympic junkie since I was a kid, and I still want to go see a summer games in person sometime.

I'd love to go watch them sometime, too. I'm hoping to go see the next winter games, if I can still get in. ^^ It's not to far from where I am, so maybe me and my brother can drive out together.

Oh, and welcome! =D I'm sure they're on www.nbcolympics.com, but it's more a matter of time to sit down and watch - to do that, I'd have to miss what's on now....maybe I'll save them for a slow night or something. We went to the winter Olympics when they were in Salt Lake City, and it was so much fun - there is *SO MUCH* that is just not shown on TV, even with all the channels and online stuff and everything. In fact, I'd say they show at most 10% of everything, and there's just nothing like actually being there.

The opening ceremonies were just amazing! And of course, our American Volleyball champs are already ahead. >=D Also awesome about Phelps!

My mom volunteered for the SLC olympics, she got to sit FRONT ROW for both the opening and closing ceremonies.... but front row was technically vision impaired XD My dang boyfriend got off work early the night of opening ceremonies, so I missed almost all of it because he didn't want to watch it. Sadness. I'm not much for the actual sports, but I hope to catch the closing ceremonies.

Been at work + TV died in a storm so I've been missing pretty much everything. I hear the US is doing pretty damn well though.
