Peace had reigned for many years over the small planet, Earth. It had been a practice for plumbers to be trained for finding and removing alien threat, but having nothing happen in years put them on edge. Some would sometimes snap and attack once-known hostile alien species. Others would leave for other worlds who needed their talents and abilities. Ben and his friends enjoyed relaxing, when the world was in no need of saving. However, this peace would not last.
Several years later, a large hostile fleet assaulted Earth. The moon colonies were completely obliterated, along with large portions of the Earth's satelite. Cities were bombed into submission when the armada moved into orbit. Soon, what was left of the military moved into the defensive, moving the survivors into underground bases and bunkers.
Once in control of the planet's surface, the lizard-like creatures, nicknamed 'scalies' by the people hiding in darkness, began to search through the ruins of New York City. They dug up human relics and elimated any resistance they found.
Leading the underground, Ben, Gwen, and Kevin decided to call back the exiled plumbers of old. They activated every communicator they could, but found the elite warriors had been killed in one way or another; age or war. Until there was only one left to try, and only one left alive.
He was the oldest, and the best as described by the files on Earth, plumber. Now he was the only one. He was a genetic experiment from the forties. During the experiment, he was changed for the good of mankind. But, all memory of his past was gone. He was the unnamed warrior. He had nothing but his gained skills and acquired titles. But he was the best of the best. The plumber had been sent to a prison uprising in a nearby system, but now he was being called back to defend his homeworld.

Earth's reinforcement was on his way to aid his people. In orbit, he met his foes first. They fired upon his small ship without warning. Although quick, he could not evade their deadly laser cannons. Soon, his small ship plummeted toward the planet's surface. However, one of the cruisers was also damaged, and it also crashed into Earth.
A group of human soldiers, led by Kevin Leven, were waiting for a graceful landing from their would-be savior. It wasn't what they received, instead the plumber's ship spun off and crashed into the sea. and, a few seconds later, their target fell into a pile of rubble not too far off.
Quickly, the soldiers ran to the crash site and looked into the man-made crater. The black armored man lay into the hole, with his helmet-visor up.
"Medic!" one of them cried.
"Quiet." hissed another. "Do you want to get us killed? It's not like it would do much good anyway..."
"Well, we have to..." the soldier paused, as Kevin walked down to the unnamed warrior. Then the hero lowered the man's visor and felt his neck.
"He's still alive." he called up to his platoon. "Get a medic down here, now."
"Yes, sir." the medic replied, sliding into the small hole. Then he set up some tools as he set to work on the man, somewhat taken aback by the man's white hair yet youthful appearance. "I don't know, sir. He may be alive, but only just. He's taken alot of damage..." He finally replied, nodding toward the blood seeping through cracks in the armor.
"Fine." their leader huffed, then he leaned over the man. "We'll have to take him with us. We still need him...or his armor." He pointed at the heavy, but light looking protection he was wearing. Suddenly one of the arms shot up and grabbed Kevin's shoulder and pulled himself up.
He glared at the black-haired man. "This is my special combat suit. And you're not taking it from me so easily."
Kevin looked stunned, "How did you survive that fall?"
The plumber brought his face up to his. "It's a special suit."

Kevin shoved him away. "Good for it."
Another soldier walked over to the duo. "Sir, we need to get moving."
"Right, give the man a weapon. We don't want him killed before we get a chance to use him do we?"
The soldier paused a moment. Then handed the plumber a pistol, old tech but still functioned. The warrior looked the weapon over and nodded, this would do.
Suddenly a vulpimancer landed on a nearby slab of concrete. The newly recruited soldier dashed toward the creature and shoved his acquired weapon on the throat of the alien.
"Stop!" came Kevin's voice, then an arm pulled the weapon away from the creature. "He's on our side." The vulpimancer shifted into the form of a ragged, war-hardened Ben.
"What a nice welcome." Ben stated sarcastically.
"Mind telling me what the enemy is, before I'm sent into combat?" the plumber asked in a gruff, irritated tone.
"Try the big lizards who shoot at you first." called another human, who was guarding the hole with several others. "Can we get going? This place is beginning to make me twitchy."
"If we together, those things are going to see us." Ben replied calmly, silently counting the amount of people there. "You two, come with me and...the plumber. The rest of you, follow Kevin back to base." He said as he divided up the team.
"Yes, sir." came the responses as they divided up and followed their respective leaders.
So without another word, the two teams split up and wound around the ruins, avoiding any scaly patrols they saw. Although, their new recruit seemed all-too-happy to eliminate them, but Ben would not allow it. "It could get us killed." he would simply say.
Soon, they arrived at a weathered and half-bombed school. Ben led them down a secret passage in the back, where he showed them a temporarily setup for a base. Soldiers sat around sleeping and talking, grimly. A few would look up at them, but they didn't respond to the new soldier.
