 It was in the early evening, Akuba was tired and didn't,
know that later, he'd be reunited with an old friend.
Bansha was stutting around the river and into the bushes,
looking for nocturnal creatures to hunt.
Akuba's teepee was now by the river as it was his favorite place.
Akuba went for his routine evening run, he ran straight into the forest, using his sharp eyes to navigate his way around and through the trees.

Dmitrria was thirsty, but did not wish to bother her human for water. She trotted to the river and thought to herself, her thoughts like knots she could not untie. And that's when she saw him. Akuba. Her heart fluttered lightly. She could not bring herself to call his name.
But Bansha saw her and approached her. "Oh dear."

Aku herd trotting to his left, he turned sharply and stopped,to see the mare.
"'Oh dear?' What's the matter?",Akuba asked, a slight bit of panic was in his face, he wanted to runaway, but he didn't know why, he felt he was being held back some how.
Bansha growled, his blue eyes pierced into hers, he stood his ground.
"Relax Bansha...your always like this",Akuba said to his companion stepping past him,he sighed,he felt sad about what he was about to do, but it was for his and her own good.
He remembered his friend Aiane told him to always smile event when he wasn't happy, like she did, so he smiled,"hiya",he felt compassion for her, yet he felt something else, he nuzzled her coat gently, and acted as if nothing was up.

Dmitrria blinked. A familiar face. A smile slid across her maw as she picked up her hooves happily.
She nuzzled his coat back, her heart fluttering.
She had never been so happy.
"I wish I could see you more often." Dmitrria sighed.
She rolled her eyes softly. "But my friend just had foals and he wants me to help him, his mate is a little batty."
