I spent the better part of 2 and a half weeks in Scandinavia. Thousands of bands hail from Norway and Sweden alone. The Entire time I was on my trip I openly saw 5 Metalheads. Four of them were over the age of 30, and all 4 of those men wither wore a darkthrone or Venom T shirt.
I came to one conclusion, closet Metal Heads. Aside from me brandishing my Tyr, Suidakra, Eluveitie, Ahab and a few others (after more than 24 hours without sleep the names elude me), nothing.
I recieved some stares- couldn't tell if it was because I was a tourists or my shirts. The Danish and the Icelandics are a real piece of work. Swedes are amazing, can't say ANYTHING bad about them. Didn't really meet many Norwegians, which is Ironic because we spent most of our time there.

Yeah, you won't find many open in Metalers in Europe. I have seen more in Mexico than Russia or Ukraine which is freakin weird : /
