Kaida laughed as Dio carried her right into the building and the elevator up to their floor. She gracefully hopped down from his shoulders and turned to face the much taller man. "Your place or mine?" A mischevious grin played over her features. Even though everyone around them knew the two would end up together, nothing more than playful flirting had passed between them. This was most likely the reason Sette had left them some time alone.

Liam was still gone at a fight, of that she was sure. His fights usually ran pretty late, being one of the best and having to fight most of the fighters that showed up. Still, if he came home early...

"Your place I think. You're pretty settled in aren't you?" Smiling warmly, she intertwined her fingers in his and pulled him through the elevator doors once they opened.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable, the layout similar to her own with Liam, but the decor was different.Still smiling, she walked into his apartment, hearing Dio close the door behind him. A fire inside of her seemed to flare at his voice. Kaida walked over to the couch and sat down, patting the space beside her. "You said you were bushed, so come be tired over here?"

The kiss made Kaida blush furiously, though it also made her smile warmly. The setting was too perfect and she was slightly afraid of it being a dream. After all the time they'd spent together, this was finally happening. Not really thinking about what she was doing, she easily shifted herself into the other super's lap and whispered in his ear. "How about trying that again?"

His nervous behavior was so cute. "I think we can do better." She whispered before kissing him deeply. It wasn't like she had done this before, but something about it came naturally to her. It had to be a part of her bold personality and feeling his emotions directly were only fueling her own.

Cosette headed silently down the hall, moving lighter than air. She finished up her sweep a little while ago, but took a little time to thing while resting atop a building. She tapped on the door of Dios apartment, sensing both Kaida and Dio were inside.
" Guys? I hope you aren't in the middle of something." She called whisper-light through the door, knowing both of them could hear her.

Dio blushed, reluctantly tugging away from another round of kisses. He shifted Kaida so she was merely sitting at his side, rather than straddling him with her arms around his neck, as his were around her waist.
" No, it's fine. C'mon in, Sette."

Cosette strode into the room, and smirked.
" So, I see you two hit it off." Both of them blushed and stuttered.
" Well, I'm heading to bed. Make sure you two don't share one tonight, it's too soon for that." She winked at them, and headed off.

When Diesel woke the next morning, he could feel the throbbing in his body that reminded him he'd managed to break two ribs, and fracture three more. That race was brutal, and since it had been suspended because of the violent crash, Diesel would have to go back that day and finish if he wanted any chance at entering the circuit's Championship races.

He sighed, and carefully sat up. Nash was probably still asleep, so he'd have to find something to eat on his own. Diesel made his way to the Kitchen where he scavenged some left-over coffee and a stale pastry. That would hold him over until the race finished, anyway. It wasn't scheduled to be anything more than a sprint between his speeder and the guy he crashed into.

Nash stirred, hearing Diesel moving around in the kitchen. The Penthouse was big, but he was extremely conscious of where Diesel was at all times. Nash threw on a shirt and walked out to investigate.

"After all the meds they gave you, I didn't expect you to be up so early."

Diesel shrugged, and grimaced at the pain that movement caused. "Race today, can't stay in bed forever." His back was turned to Nash, but he knew that the other man would be fuming. Nash had no idea that Diesel intended to continue the race as injured as he was.

Nash mulled his words around, but said nothing of his own thoughts. Instead, he simply moved to make his own breakfast. Nash knew that Diesel was waiting for him to say something, make some protest, but Nash wasn't going to. Let the idiot kill himself if he wanted to.

It didn't take the two men overly long to ready themselves for the track, so they loaded up Diesel's racing gear and made their way down to the arena.
