The Black Hole Cafe is frequented by the younger people of the city, mostly students from the nearest flight academy, or those who wish to stop for a quick lunch. It is set in a classy style, with mostly wood furniture, harvested and crafted on Druis. They have music nights every Saturday at eight through ten, where both local and out-of-planet bands come to play.

As he slowly made his way into the cafe, he looked around for a moment before sitting down at a nearby table. The effects of the vodka was starting to wear off and he began shivering a bit, sighing at the sudden realization that he would actually be meeting Vi here soon. He couldn't wait, but something inside of him kept saying that nothing between them would change for the better. If that were the case, he wouldn't mind, but it would hurt a lot to know that the one time he found a girl that would've been there for him, he screwed it up and made things worse on himself. Silently, he rested his head on the table he was sitting at and closed his eyes gently for a moment as he waited for either Vi to show up and wake him, or for a waiter or waitress to wake him up to see what he wanted.

Vi had managed to clean her self up a bit, even changing into a clean pair of clothes before she met Deilita. She saw him sitting alone, his head down, a few waitresses giving him a disdaining look. Vi shook her head and walked forward though every notion in her body told her to walk away. "Sorry if I kept you waiting." She said shortly, taking a seat in front of him.

Deilita was awake the instant he heard Vi's voice and after wiping his face a bit, he smiled and stretched once more. "Wow...I didn't think you'd show up." He said, not out of spite, but just out of shock. He thought that since she was still mad at him, she would stand him up, he'd go back to his ship, force a take-off, and never be heard from again, but it looked like fate had a different plan in store. "I'm glad you came, I've been trying to find you so I could talk to you again, but ever since you left, I could never get a ho.....well, I just never found you after that day." He stopped himself from saying hold, cause it made him think of the first time they really kissed and held each other, and that thought alone made him sad whenever he thought about it.

Vi's gaze fell momentarily, wanting to get up now and leave. But something told her she should stay and hear him out. "Well it's lucky you caught me, I was about to blast my way out of here and finally head home." She said, still not looking at him. She felt it was quite strange that she had missed her flight, just to help out two strangers. If she had simply gone on her way, she could be half way home by now, far away from Veratia and far away from thoughts of Deilita. "Besides...what else is there to say? I think we said it all back then..." She added a bit sharply, accidentally letting her hurt feelings emerge. She had managed to suppress them a short while after he was gone, but somehow they were bubbling back with a vengeance.

Deilita looked down at the table and sighed, thinking about how he practically gave her a choice between leaving and staying with him. He didn't mean to say what he said, but things just got out of control and he said things purely out of frustration. "Look, you're right....I'm sorry for waisting your time and everything....you didn't deserve to be treated the way you were that day. I practically took you from your home back in Druis and kept you away from it for a year because of something idiotic I chose to do. I ruined your life, blah blah blah, and all that jazz....look, the point of this is that....." He stopped for a moment as he looked away from her. After a moment of silence, he looked back to Vi and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I'm sorry. I was an idiot to say the things I said to you and I'm sorry. If you don't forgive me and take me back, I'll understand, just know that I'm sorry, and I did not mean to hurt you like I did..." Deilita finally fell silent and shook his head. "It's funny how a year apart from someone that cared about you can totally mess you up, ya know?"

Vi suddenly felt guilty for hating him so much. Though she was still angry, she wanted to forgive him. "I-....I probably shouldn't walked out. We could have figured out something together....I was just so angry with you, I couldn't think!" She admitted, furrowing her brow. She fell silent for a moment. Part of her thought this was just like it was a year ago. He had just basically given her a choice to sty together or go home... She wasn't sure if she was making the right decision this time...
"I-i did miss you...after I had calmed down and such...." She admitted this too, feeling a bit vulnerable. She missed everything about him. The way his gentle touch felt across her skin, the way he smelled when he held her close, even the spark in his eye he got when he talked about something he was passionate about. She had been so hurt at first that she had forgot all these things, making her heart grow cold at the thought of him. But now that they were here now, she didn't know what to do.

Deilita nodded a bit and smiled a bit. "You had a reason to be angry, and I missed you too." He then looked down for a minute and looked back up at Vi. "Look, I'll take you back home today. I just gotta get some money that I saved up and pay off a couple of debts that I owe the docking pad for taking care of my ship. It's the least I can do to repay you for all the trouble I caused. Once I get you where you need to go, I promise I'll leave you alone if you'd like. I've caused you enough trouble as it is and I don't want to make things....god, why am I talking like this?" He said softly as he leaned forward and held Vi's hand. "What I mean is, I want....I would like to have a second chance at a relationship with you Vi, if that's alright with you though..."

Vi looked at his hand for a moment, feeling flooding back to her through that single touch. Yet she gently pulled her hand away, shaking her head. "I've done some serious thinking this past year and I'm not sure if I can just forget everything and start over...no matter how much I want to..." But looking up at him and really seeing his face, the one she'd thought about constantly and missed dearly...it made her heart want him back. "How about we get some time to think about this? I promised those two you met back there that I'd help them with their ship before I went anywhere...w-why don't you come spend the night at my place? I have an extra room and it should be a bit more comfortable that the ship..." She offered, a bit hesitantly. Since leaving Deilita, she had saved up enough to afford a modest apartment on the side of town. It was a bit dingy but it was affordable and a roof over her head.

Deilita thought about what Vi said at first and pulled his hand away as well, sighing softly to himself as he did. "I-I see. I guess I deserve that...." He thought as he responded to her first statement. But when Vi asked if he wanted to stay at her home for a moment, he thought about it for a second, something in the back of his mind saying not to do it, but something else in a slightly louder voice kept saying, "GO FOR IT!! IT'S YOUR ONLY CHANCE!!" So, since he really did want a chance with Vi again, his response had to be carefully selected and thoughtfully presented. "Well...I don't want to impose....You sure it's okay and all?"

"Of course. By the looks of it, you could use a decent night sleep..." She added, looking him up and down with a sigh. "It also looks like you haven't had a meal that didn't consist of booze and saltines for awhile either..." She meant this last part to be funny, though it looked to be mostly true.

"Well...." Vi was right on both topics she brought up. He was always working so he never really got time to eat or sleep. And when he slept, it was for about 4 hours at the most, and when he ate, it usually just didn't taste edible. With a sigh, he rubbed his eyes and smiled. "Okay, I'll stay over at your place then. Sounds like a plan to me, oh, you need any help with that job of yours? I don't mind making myself useful still." Deilita said with a slight smile.

"I can handle it myself..." Vi shrugged, wanting to prove she was doing fine on her own. "I'll get you a cup of coffee before we leave. It'll help you be able to at least make it halfway to my place..." She added with a slight smile before standing to confront a near by waitress.

((I'll brb I gotta take a quick shower but It'll only take a minute...besides I have no clue where Vi's temp. 'apartment' is ....><))

"Yeah...thanks." Deilita mumbled slightly as he watched Vi walk off, his eyes looking down at her slender body and taking in her features with a silly grin on his face. She was still as beautiful as he remembered in the picture they took together. Thinking about said picture for a moment, he pulled it out of his back pocket and smiled, looking at how Vi held on to Deilita while he gave her a piggyback ride. They were both happy that day and it was just before the race, everything seemed to be going right, and they had hopes all ready to be achieved. Unfortunately, things didn't go as expected and they ended up breaking up over a stupid fight.

Vi returned with two coffees in to-go cups. She smile slightly before handing Deilita a cup when she noticed the picture in his hands. She blushed slightly remembering that day as well. "What's that?" She asked, pretending not to know what it was.

((sorry its so short, I was on the phone with an old friend ><))
