The Sacred Temples were built as a sanctuary during the first war, therefore they are very old. There is more than one temple, more like six, each varying in height from having three levels to five. Each temple is connected by a rope bridge to the temple next to it. Each temple is made of stone and mortar and inside each has a shrine designated to its own patron god.
Priests and dervishes live here, those on pilgrimages stay here. Any in trouble are welcome. The priests and dervishes will protect this holy place with magic and skill, it is the most protected area other than the arena. It is in the outskirts of the capital city surrounded by trees.

Shina looked around from one of the tallest bridges that looked down upon the temples. She did not fell alone, though many claimed that she was nothing but alone. She had come to this temple before the death of the late Queen Ashe, she had seen what a mess it had caused politically. But she didn't care. She looked around for her animal aquantances, as well as her one human one. Her sister. It wouldn't be long now no...she could hardly wait to get on the move again. Not for a pilgramage no, but to travel across their world and make their own adventure.

Colm arrived at the temple and quickly changed into normal clothes. He walked into the temple quietly and found an open room. "Man, if there was a god he would kill me right now." the vampire laughed cutting open his arm and smearing it into a pentagram on the stone floor. "Ouch."

Shina heard the man enter in through the temple, but more or less...it was Sparticus that told her before she decided to check it out. She had seen the smoke coming from the magnificent castle, she had been expecting people seeking refuge in the temples. She gracefully swung herself over the railings of the bridge she had been sitting on and lept off to the ground stories below. She landed not far from the new King. "What brings you here your majesty?"

She starred, Oh how she starred off of the veranda into the hill filled landscape, but her gaze shifted downwards with longing towards the cold hard ground there, where water drained from the clouds above, and where her dear beloved lay. For an instant, a grave temptation filled her, and she took the smallest step towards the rail, that blocked her for her poisonous want. Blocking her, from being free, from simply being... The girl blinked, and turned her head towards the sky, letting the pellets of water pound apon her fragile face, her tears, making a small warmth, then fading, amongst the cold of the sky.
Scowling, as she opened up her pale opal eyes and the black brow furrowed in disgust. She had this dream much to often for her own likeing, it was merely an annoyance.
Shaking out her messed ebony hair, she stood up straight, inspected her surroundings from the tall bridge she had no doubt rested upon, then headed towards the clump of temples below.
((sorry, wasn't sure what exactly to post ))

"Oh, hello Shina." Colm smiled and then frowned. How did I know her name? "Illusion and I think that when the castle got burned down it was an attempt at my life, so I'm hiding out here. The rest of the royalty is going to meet here for a short while so I can give them a gift." he pointed to the blood on the floor and all the ingredients beside him.

Kiro made his way to the Temple. When he finally got there, he was amazed. He never came to this Temple before, just the one on a forsaken island that the Water Nation holds dear. He was in awe until reality hit him, he needed to find Colm and Illusion. "Hello? Anyone here? I need to see the King immediately... that is if he is here..." If not, the next place would be the Tavern, then the Arena... he would look everywhere for these two.

"In here Kiro" Colm shouted, his voice echoing through the walls. Colm continued his ritual, spreading various ingredients such as blood grass and wolfs bane over the blood smeared pentagram.

Tala rode in through the tall gates that surrounded the sacred temples and nodded at the Imperial Guards as she did. Slowing Makani to a trot, she pulled down her hood from her crimson cloak to stare in awe at the enormity of the place.
It was magnificent.

Kiro followed the voice to Colm. Luckily he found him first. "Your honor, King Colm... I have grave news. The Water Nation is preparing for war... I have no influence now, I'm just a lord who is willing to fight for my country." He bowed, cause he forgot, "You know where Illusion went? I need to talk to her as well... I... I didn't know that my country attacked already..." The Queen filled him in, and now he was a diplomat. "My country didn't know that the Wind was potential allies..."

As the two kept going in the direction of the main temple, while Tala was taking in the beauty surrounding her, Makani smelled blood. She shivered, and decided to stay away from where it was; it didn't smell right.
Tala mused quietly to herself, a million things going through her head. About the fires that seemed to start by themselves. About the ache- which had been faint since she lived in the human village- that was now continual. About how she was going to prove the Fire Nation's innocence.
It was a lot to take in.

Finally arriving at the main temple, Tala removed her boots in respect for the Gods. "Wait here Makani," she said quietly.
The she wolf was all too happy to oblige; the smell of blood was strongest from here. Tala walked gracefully in, heading toward the entrance to what looked to be the catacombs, not seeing Kiro or the King at first. It was cold, and smelled like it would rain in a few hours. She absently pulled her cloak around her tighter.

Colm's nose twitched wolves, tala to be exact 'I sent her to gather some of the royalty, in case of further danger. I'll give her the message though, but while your here I guess you might as well stay and wait for the gift." he smiled and pointed to the floor. "Safety measure in case of trouble. Tala we're over here." The king said conjuring a fire in the points of the pentagram. "Now we need to wait for the rest."

Envy walked to the temple. This was the first time in years, since her parents were killed, that she had gone into public. She was unknown to society....unknown assasin..she chuckled darkly to herself as she looked up at the temple. She sighed and tightened the belt around her chest that she used to carry her sword and sheath with, and walked into the temple.

Shina rolled her eyes. She was used to royalty and didn't give a care for deserved reverence or respect. They were people, they were not her problem. "So you're bringing the top people on the hit list to the only place in this forsaken city that is safe?" She calculated how many other safe havens there might be within the next few hours of traveling distance. "If you store too many here we'll certainly be burned next, holy grounds or not." She looked at Kiro, then she spotted Tala. Her owl flew down to rest on her shoulder, then she saw Envy. "Nice little party you've thrown..."
