I'm sure that at least most of you have heard of this, by now, but what are your feelings on the Montauk Monster? What are some of the wildest claims you've heard? Is there any new information on it, or even interesting rumors that you would like to share?

I've heard that it was a turtle, a dog, a raccoon, or a puffin. I don't really think it looks like any of those, though. The most likely thing that I heard (at least in my mind) is that there was some kind of animal genetic testing thing near by, and that comes to you from AIM Dashboard. They are seldom entirely serious, so take that with a grain of salt, but it does stand to reason.

I confess to having absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp4K3ZFfi5AAccording to this report, it was an animal disease center. Maybe there's also a test center near by, but it was probably this. Sara was the one that made mention of the test center, afterwards, as I really didn't remember reading about it, so who knows. I have heard disparaging remarks made about CNNs coverage in the past, but being that the one who made them listened to Fox News via radio, I'll just go on assuming that they are spot on accurate.

Well it sounds like there was some sort of animal something nearby.
But...was anyone a bit suspicious about the picture quality? The camera that the woman was holding up in no way could take a picture of that quality.

I'm thinking it's a result of animal testing. However, it would be pretty interesting if it was some kind of demon...

I just laughed a bit when I heard people saying it was a de-shelled turtle. I don't think that it would look anything like a turtle if it were given a replacement.
I was severely disappointed when I watched the report with Jeff Corwin in it. = / A raccoon? Come on now.... rolleyes
It's hind legs look nothing like those of a raccoon and it's tail was a bit too short.
I only wish there was something else in the photo for a size comparison. =/

I think it is Josh. Although I don't actually think we'll ever know - the corpse has been stolen, has it not?

Krissi-Chaos I think it is Josh. Although I don't actually think we'll ever know - the corpse has been stolen, has it not? Now I must convince you? Please go read the posts that I think I left a link to. If not, you're in the guild, so it won't be hard to find them. Some guys took it, according to that video I put up. There are just bones, now. Who knows, really.

DNA from the bones? Is that even possible?! {I'm a terrible biology student.}
