I know how you feel, I miss my long hair too. It feels weird at first, but you'll get used to it. 3nodding I got mine cut to just because it gets to the point it's hard to take care of, I get split ends a lot as well.

I cut my hair really short last summer before I went to college. I've had it long all my life, so it felt really alien for a long time.

Awwwwwwwwwww.
I remember when I was little, I screamed like my mom was cutting off an arm or leg or something when she cut my hair. I wanted long hair....and am trying to reach my goal now....I leave my bang long (they are about belly button leanth ^^""") and I cut my other hair just a bot shorter about an inch and a half, so I can cosplay with long bangs and those bead things like Chi, or Masaki xD

Like Vanessa says, it'll grow back ^^ XD you just made me remember the first time my mom made me wear my hair short. I was like 7, maybe. And for as long as I could remember I had long hair (like waist-length). I CRIED when I saw the chunks falling to the floor. And the stylist wasn't helping, since she commented on how sad it was to cut so much hair when it looked so pretty. rolleyes xd I think I even wrote a whole diary entrance on that rofl

I try and keep my hair short, otherwise it becomes an afro. and not with tight curls, mine are short curls but I hate having an afro because it's not good during hot days...

I hate short hair, I can't do anything with it because my hair just grows too fast so I just leave it long and get regular trims and thinnings because my hair is thick. And if I don't I die from the heat in the summer.
