I'm worried that some threads might be getting lost when they fall below a certain point even though they are still popular. I think that making more popular and important threads into stickies might be able to fix this problem by keeping them higher and in a more important spot in the forum. I think I might go ahead and make the larger threads and possibly what I think to be long-term threads that aren't getting the expected attention into stickies, but I want everyone to vote on whether they like this or not. If not I'll return the newly stickified threads to normal status and delete this thread. If most people like it, though, this thread will be used to nominate and vote on making other threads into stickies. I mentioned this idea a while back, but didn't get much response. Now that I've ended up as captain though I can take charge of the responsibility of taking charge of the operation.
Please! Everyone vote on this!

Okay, I just finished making some of the more popular threads into stickies. Words, Describe the avatar above you, and quotes are now stickies. If there's a thread you would like to nominate PM me or post here and I'll start a poll here and/or on the thread that's been nominated.

Hey man, way to take some dang initiative! You're doing awesome, I really am appreciative of all this activity. Good to see some stickies.

Just remember to check them periodically to make sure they are still pertinent. By periodically, I mean every 6 months or so.
