THE ROCK FIELD!
Tremors rippled forth from center-field as the basic floor shifted to a rock and dirt field, rock towers jutted forth from the ground to offer a place of escape or an attack advantage. The breeze from the stadium air conditioners stirred the loose sand on the field, this creates a mini sandstorm that could possibly blind those who were battling.

Renekai walked into the stadium, Bell following her on foot. Renekai turned to face her Delibird and said, "Now, just because we have a type advantage doesn't mean that you can relax! We don't know what they'll throw at us, so be on your guard and do your best!"
Bell gave Renekai a disdainful look. As if she didn't know that already... Bell flew to her position in battle, landing on a rock pillar. This would be interesting, but Bell need not worry too much about the rocks; she would most likely just fly most of the time. The sandstorms might be a problem, though... Bell looked out across the stadium to where her opponent should be.

As Nox entered the the stadium her eyes widened. She had never seen this field and the towers were quite different than her usual surroundings at her campsite. As she reached the trainer's area she released Electra from her pokeball.
"Lets do good out there sweet-heart." she said, bending down and patting the bulbasaur.
At her release, Electra gave a good shake. Those balls always felt cramped to her. 'Maybe I'm claustrophobic?' She mused to herself.
"Bulba basaur! Of course I will!" She responded to her trainer before trotting onto the field.

"Alright~ Let's start this off with an Ice Beam!" Renekai called.
Bell charged up an Ice Beam quickly in her beak, then shot it across the stadium at Electra. Bell had never fought a Grass type before, but she was sure that she'd be able to handle it!
Renekai smiled. Bell had had some bad fights lately, but this one was sure to be better!

Electra heard the opposing trainer's order and kicked it into high gear. She attempted to use a jutting rock as a shield but wasn't fast enough. Just before she darted behind the rock she was struck in the leg by the white cold attack. She slipped behind the temporary shelter and cringed at the prickling numbness in her hindquarters.
"Oh no, Electra!" Nox fretted from the sidelines. "Use Light Screen, sweet!" She called to her pokemon.
Electra quickly concentrated on producing a reliable shield as she stretched the numbness out of her leg and waited for her opponent's next move.

"Never mind that, Bell!" Renekai called. "Ice Beam!"
Bell summoned up another beam and shot it at Electra. The Bulbasaur may have a light screen up, but Bell would just break it down! Or something like that.
"Keep it up, Bell!" Renekai said happily. If their opponent wouldn't strike just yet, Bell would be glad to!

The delebird's attack might not have broken down Electra's Light Screen but it sure did a number on the rock she had hid behind. 'It looked so much sturdier than that. Maybe its because its a constructed rock?' she mused as she darted away from the exploding stone, large pieces deflected by her Light Screen but smaller, sharper ones breaking through and lodging in her pelt, causing her to falter in her evasion..
Nox watched her pokemon dash about the field and racked her brain for a usefull move. Finally she yelled "Electra! Use Poison Powder!"
At her trainer's call, Electra began speeding towards Bell, hoping proximity would help the attack succeed, and began to release the toxic pollen from her bulb. 'See how you like that!' she remarked silently.

"Uh-oh!" Renekai said. Poison Powder... Not so good. "Give her one more Ice Beam!" Renekai shouted.
Bell flinched as the powder reached her, hurting her with poison. But it was alright; it was only temporary! Bell charged up an Ice Beam and fired once more. That Bulbasaur had spunk, Bell had to admit.

"Good job sweet-heart!" Nox chimed as the poison took effect. "Now give her a nice Growl!"
Electra's Poison Powder attack was barely finished when Bell launched a third Ice Beam. She tried to duck out of the way but part of her bulb was hit by the powerful ice attack, causing damage to the fleshy plant.
She quickly rose at her trainer's order. "I will not lose!" She snarled the attack at the bird pokemon "You will not beat me!" She was going to use her vocal cords to the best of her ability.

"Facade!" Renekai called.
Bell shook herself, flapping a bit. She seemed to be getting riled up! Her attack was raised back to normal because of this, and she would be ready to fight. She did flinch a little as the poison hurt her, though.

Nox clenched her fists in aggravation as her strategy, albeit a simple one, was so easily thwarted. "Argg! Electra, use Take Down!"
Electra glared at the delibird as she preformed the offending attack and picked up speed as she ran at her. "Think you've won already?!" she nearly snarled at her as she angrily launched herself at Bell, "I won't be beaten so easily!"

"Ouch," Renekai winced, seeing Bell knocked aside like a bowling pin. "C'mon, Bell! Ice Beam!"
Bell staggered to her feet, then flew to the safety of the air. Taking careful aim and waiting for a small sandstorm to pass, Bell shot another Ice Beam onto Electra. Bell would win! She was determined to!

Nox's brow furrowed with worry as her bulbasaur was hit full on by Bell's Ice Beam. "Hang in there El! Use another Take Down!"
Electra was brought to her knees by that last attack. With only vague feeling in her legs she struggled up and started sprinting towards the nearest tower and used it as a spring board to launch herself at the airborne pokemon. If she was going to go down, she was gunna go down fighting with everything she had.
