I'm starting to build a site to collect the information that's usually scattered around various forums and other sites all into one place. I'll probably be asking from input from you guys when I get the commenting feature complete, if that's ok. I still have a ways to go with building it, and the front page is very basic right now, I intend to make nicer fonts and graphics later on. http://www.fox-dream.com/artistalleyresource.htmlWhat do you think?

I'm a big person when it comes to web design, however with info sites it doesn't bother me that it plain. The fact that it supplies me with great facts is the best!!
I think it looks fine the way it is. Stick in a few pictures here and there and you're good. ^^
Just don't make navigation confusing. They would spoil it.

I'll probably ultimately shift it to being in frames with navigation on the left. I'm always very much for a clear site layout versus something more artsy. I'll be making graphics buttons at least.

I tried to put one of these together when I first started the AA thread. I hope you have better luck then I did. xd
My only tip right now is 'no white backgrounds'. razz Studies have shown that white backgrounds cause stress.

Personally I prefer artsy and functional. ^_~
But it looks like you're off to a nice start - I'm excited to see where you take it from here. I think frames would definitely be a nice way to go, though. I really have nothing else to say at this point but a big THANK YOU for taking the time to create such a site. ^_^

I was told things in green helps you remember o.o~ so useing green for somethings may help.
i think it's be funny if you did a pirate motif for ARR~ >_>

Sorry I havn't had a chance to work more on the site, I have too many cons coming up right now, though I did take pics of AA while I was at Otakon.
The page is way more plain than it'd be in final form, I already have a frames layout in mind.
I think the pirate motief will be unavoidable XD I'm not great at drawing pirates, but I sense an artist with an eyepatch coming as a mascot...
