Mankind's intensely dramatic music hits as he hobbles down the ring ramp with his manager, Doink, at his side. He slowly walked up the steps and took a seated position in the corner, rocking back and forth as he waited for his opponent to come to the ring.

Doink stood outside the ring, making sure he was close to Mankind as he looked at him reassuringly.

Hello, ladies! Val Venis stepped out from the back, looking around at the crowd, he then walked down the ramp, high fiving a couple of lucky fans, then sliding entering the ring by climbing in. He went on a turnbuckle and took off his towel, throwing it into the crowd, then jumping down and looking at Mankind.

Mankind pulled himself to his feet as the bell rung. He slowly moved towards Venis.

Val was a bit faster then Mankind, immediatly going for a lockup.

Mankind's weight was shifted forward as Val secured the headlock.

Val lost his balance after the weight shifted, but quickly regained it and tried to keep the headlock on.

Mankind wrapped his arms around Val's waist and tried to lift him up and drop him on his upper back with a suplex.

The suplex was succesful, Val held his back in pain.

Mankind then tried to sit on Val's chest and throw hard lefts and rights at his face.

Val was hit hith the punches, he tries to throw mankind off of him.

Mankind was knocked off of Venis. He rolled over and started to get back to his feet.
