Bly danced about in the night looking up at the stars. There were so many! He wondered if they spoke to each other about life down here. A shooting star crossed his vision and he chased it until it was gone. Now he was bored. He should have been sleeping ages ago. But he couldn't, sleep just seemed so boring right now. But what would he do now? This was just as boring. He stood there staring into space stupidly imagining stars with mouths and eyes talking to each other.

(Her name is spelled wrong on the cert. It's M agaskawee.) It was just another restless night for the fun-seeking foal. She'd snuck away from her brother, and went out to explore the wonders of the night-time world. Mags stumbled her way through the night, getting a new collection of scrapes and bruises. Her brown eyes caught something in the distance. Was that another foal?! It had to be! She began to run toward the figure, only to trip and tumble toward it instead.

Bly blinked when he heard noises. Something was moving toward him but he couldn't tell what. It could have been something dangerous, but he stayed there and stared with his mouth hanging open. What was that? A foal! As the little thing got closer he could make her out better. Oh yay! A new friend. Foals were always fun because he basically was one so he could always relate to them. This would be fun! He walked toward the tumbling foal with a smile on his face.

Mags looked up at the other foal, but realized something when it got closer. Why, that wasn't a foal at all! Struggling to her feet, the foal fanned out her wings in an effort to steady herself upon spindly legs. Between huffs, she spoke. "H-hey!" Her head tilted to the side at the other horse, unsure of what to think.

Bly looked at her wings and instantly thought of birds. They were so noisy! He wondered if this foal was too. "Hi!" he said and watched her curiously. "What's your name?" he asked politely. Though he was stupid, he usually didn't forget introductions. He sat down oddly like his parents always did and blinked at the foal, waiting for the poor thing to catch her breath.

Once she caught her breath, the foal answered the stallion, a cheerfulness to her voice. "The name's Magaskawee. You can call me Mag or Mags, though. That's what my brother calls me. What about yours?" She tucked her wings back closely to her body as she waited for his answer.

"Magskwee?" He said her name wrong. "I'll call you Mag. My name's Bly." he said nodding so much that his head hurt. He was so happy he'd met a foal. They were so much more fun than adults. Grown-ups were boooring. He thought about this forgetting that he was a grown-up. "So what'cha doin'?" he asked curiously with a huge smile on his face. Now that he was sitting down he was more at her level. He liked it this way, it didn't seem like he was looking down at her.

She shook her head when he said her name wrong, but shrugged it off. "Nice to meet ya, Bly!" Smiling Mags gazed up a the stars for a moment, then looked back at the stallion. "Just lookin', I guess. I couldn't sleep again, so I came out to look up at the sky. It's really pretty, and my brother doesn't usually notice that I'm even gone." Nodding, she added, "What about you? What are you doing out here all alone?"

"Same reason. And there was no one around to miss me while I'm out." he smiled and looked up at the stars. "'M not alone anymore." he said and blinked, his mouth hanging open slightly. Then he looked back at her. "Where'd you come from?" he asked curiously. He like Mag, she was nice so far, he hoped he didn't make her angry. Others seemed to get angry at him for no reason most of the time.

Where'd she come from? "Uh... My basket, I think." Nodding, she looked around. "What about you?"

Bly thought. "Over there...." he said and indicated where he'd been dancing around a few minutes ago. He laughed a little bit. "Well, we should do something...Besides sit here I mean." he nodded and stood up to think of things to do. He would suggest I Spy but it was much too dark for that of course.

Mags nodded, and thought. "But... Don't you have a Mommy or Daddy? Or a teepee?" She frowned at the thought of living alone. She didn't have her parents, but at least she had her brother.

"Oh I have a mate and a son. But I think they're visiting grandma or someone right now." he nodded confused as to where they were. This wasn't the first time he'd been away from them. He'd probably see them again tomorrow. "They'll be fine." he said confidently. He forgot about any ideas he'd had of what to do. What was there to do at night anyway? Hide and seek in the dark, but that was scary!
((He's actually supposed to be with them right now but he needs RP ya know? Lol.))

Mags smiled when he said he had a mate and children. "It must be nice to have a family..." She sighed at the thought of having a mother and father.
