Today i took some photos to do in the DIY section, and while i was there i took photos of my grass thats coming up, and the horrid clay areas i was talking about =O

For those of you who are new, a month ago or so, i took a weekend and bought some grass seeds, soil, trying to grow grass. Since in this clay we have, only pine trees seem to grow O.o

And in one test patch, its finally coming up nicely - - and rather quick!
Sunset, Onicoe, thank you for the help in my other thread, i appreciate it! And im really proud of my grass ;_;

And also, my 'cherry tree'
Which im doubting it is...i'll give it a few more weeks..

HURRAY FOR THE GRASS!!!!!

There's a cherry tree down the road from me---when it cools off later (fat chance!) I'll walk down and look at the leaves.

I really hope those are cherries!

They certainly look like cherries to me xd They kinda look like grapes a little, too.. Or maybe underdeveloped plums.. But who ever heard of a grape tree? confused

Yaay grass! Grass is something that I certainly took for granted until this Summer... The grass around my garden and banana tree is doing well, as well as the strip that I shoot water across to get the water to my eggplants xd But the rest of my yard has turned into brown and yellow splotches with some green here and there gonk It'll come back though once it cools off.

Haha, well it's only a dwarf tree so it won't get bigger than ten feet tall xd I got it for my mom for Mother's Day xp I would send you bananas when they start producing, but they'd prolly be all squishy and rotten by the time they got there stressed Unless I did the whole commercial produce thing and picked them while they were green ninja

Your tree looks like a crabapple. Did it turn out to be a cherry or crabapple tree? I'm just wanting to know. Annie

No you can make jam out of Crab Apples. I have two trees, and they make uber good jam.
It's very tart though...

Birds and geese LOVE crab apples. So do squirrels and any tree climber that isn't youself your kids or hubby and your cat and dog will probably nom on those.

Ugh, why grass? For something that is green, grass is one of the worst plants when it comes to being enviromentally green.
