That in Harvestmoon tree of Tranquility, you can play as your kids after they grow to certain age?

I never heard of that! D8 That'd be pretty interesting though. But I also heard that you can have multiple children in Tree of Tranquility like the SNES Harvest Moon.
Although, I doubt you can control him. Maybe make him do chores, but none other than controlling him. <.<

I know for a fact that you can have more than one kid, but I am trying to find the article so I can post the link, but I believe it said that when your child hits a certain age and if they like you, you can give them a certain Item and it lets you play as them... but I am not sure...

I heard somewhere that you can, actually. Once your main character dies or something you can have the choice to play as either your boy or girl child depending on what you have
Edit: This is what it says on Wikipedia Restart as your child After your child has reached their final stage, there is a certain event you can do called the "Rucksack Event." It involves you receiving a rucksack called the "Journey Rucksack". If you want, you can give it to your child, and a cutscene or two will occur. Your game will restart you as your "child". If your child was a boy, you'd restart on the island as the main boy character. If your child was a girl, it's the same thing, but with the girl character. You'll have all your money and animals as before.

And also, if you go to IGN.com, and look in the screenshots for Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility, you can see some other people that you can play as that look different from the main characters... you also see this mysterious guy with red hair, and I have looked all over the place and I don't know who he is, can someone clue me in... He looks kind of like a god or something.

Hmmm... this is peculiar because it you type Harvest Moon: Exciting Animal March, in the search bar at IGN, you get the same screenshots as the one I posted earlier... hmmm... IGN must've made a mistake... they look so similar though it is hard to tell.

Raechel Rae I heard somewhere that you can, actually. Once your main character dies or something you can have the choice to play as either your boy or girl child depending on what you have Really? but wouldn't most the villagers be dead, too? Or too old for your kid to marry?

lol Ok so I have a couple of things to say
1... actually I am not entirely sure about the number of kids you can have.
and
2... I saw where I heard it, but it said that once your kid hits a certain age you can give them this item called the Journey rucksack or somthing like that, and you start over as your kid (Who coincidentally looks just like you when he/she gets older........)) anyways, you basically just play the game again, however you start with all the animals and money you had from before.... Kind of like you inherited the farm..... however.. you don't really play as your child because it just makes you look like the girl/boy main character again when you start... or atleast that is what I heard.

Well that makes a little more sense. Still, the whole marriage thing I don't get. <.<
Unless your kid marries the same bachelors/bachelorettes as you did. Which will be kinda odd since they're supposed to be old and wrinkly. 8D Especially if you're able to marry your own mom/dad (one of the candidates you married to have your kid). o____O''
Still, sounds interesting. XD

Put me in the spotlight...
I have no clue. It would be kind of cool but I'd be too sad that my character was dead. Plus everyone would be old and that wouldn't be too cool for your child.
I was born for it.
