Symphony was a little perterbed this afternoon. For starters, her herdmate Kiun had just come happily home when he found out his son was gay. Symphony liked Kiun well enough, but his children had some serious issues. His lifemate Marie was okay for a grounded, but Symphony definatly did not want to run into any groundeds today. She was tired of her tail being gawked at, and her wings being made fun of. She settled down on top of a high spire of rock, grumbling to herself about how life was so unfair. She wasn't even in the mood to sing today, and that alone saddened her.

Time was lost to Persephonix.
He could tell it was afternoon since the sun was rather high up in the sky, but he had no clue what day it was, or how long it had been since he had fled home in pursuit of a certain rat. He had caught whiff of her while training his daughter, and without thought chased after it like a dog. A snarl ripped from his mouth as he thought about it, the Kalona propped up against a tree as he settled down. Of course that abomination would partner up with a unicorn. Of-freaking-course.
He was no better than that filthy, conniving rat.
As he moved, a sharp pain emitted from the deep stab wound on his chest. In response, the stallion's eyes narrowed sharply, the feeling unpleasant. He didn't need to glance down at theslowly healing wound to know that it was very close to breaking open once again. Being careful was not one of his strong suits, as he had learned in the fight with Adonis. Unknowingly a low growl rumbled deep in his throat, which seemed to happen whenever the fruity stallion appeared in his head... Protecting tha silly nilly twit.
Too absorbed in these thoughts, he was oblivious to his surroundings.

Symphony was jolted out of her reverie when she heard the growl. Unsure if it was a forest animal, or something more, she pricked her ears, listening. She jumped off the spire of rock and opened her wings, gliding down to the forest below. It wasn't that far, and the growl had reverberated off the rock. Landing was a little difficult, crashing through trees and brush. Landing as a heap on the bottom of the forest floor. She groaned softly, the thin little branches had ripped her body, and she was now covered with little tiny cuts. Swearing furiously, and loudly, she got to her feet, whaveter had growled would sure be aware she was there now.
