If my sources are correct, next year the writers of DW have decided against making the movies instead of a new season, and David Tennant has agreed to stay.
Yay!

Uh, sorry.. but Julie Gardner (one of the producers) said at the Comic-Con panel for Doctor Who that the reason RTD wasn't there was because he was in Cardiff, working on the script for the first Doctor Who special.
I think you must be quite mistaken, but I'd love to see your sources.
And.. I have no clue what to do with this thread.
Edit: Actually, I do.
I'm locking it, because technically it's a repeat thread. There's already an entire discussion over whether or not he's leaving the show here.
