Steve stretched and yawned shaking his head a bit and running his fingers through his hair as he woke from his nap. He looked about the room that was his home now and sighed a bit. "Ain't much, but better than what I had before," Looking around he shook his head, and went to check out the bathroom.
...
A short shower later and feeling much more refreshed, Steve dressed quickly and picked up his guitar, slinging it over his shoulder as he headed out of the room. Keeping a mental noted on it's location so he'd not get lost (a must for city navigation) he moved down the hall using what few signs he could find to navigate and mark landmarks in his head. He located the Cafeteria and lounge easily enough, and then finally found his way outside.
The weather was nice, and it was all he could do to keep from laughing as he looked up into the sky. It was a nice day, the sun was shining, he was surprised to not hear pigey or spearow's singing. But he didn't mind it. Moving down towards the beach that ran along on the enclosure he chuckled and sat, pulling his guitar around so he could open the case and start to play.

Sitting on the beach herself, pretty close to the water was Sarafina. She was laying on her stomach, with her feet up in the air as she types on her laptop. So far, since she arrive on the isle she seem pretty much at peace. Not much seem to be different from any other place, except it was fenced off. But it was better then having some male trying to get a free grope of her. Her father would kill her if he saw a male around her.
Pulling her pink hat down alittle, she tugs at the pink and white bikini top she has on. Sitting up, she lifts her hands above her head "Mmmm the beach is so nice today."

Steve saw the girl, and his mind started to click into the suave mindset of flirtation, as it usually did when he encountered a member of the opposite sex. Smirking he leaned forwards, trying to get a good look at her, and he heard her statement, barely, and was lucky he'd not made too, too much noise. Standing up he brushed the sand off his butt and picking up his uncased guitar, started to strum a few notes.
Looking the girl over, he couldn't shake the feeling he had seen her somewhere before, but that was common with him, he was a horrid flirt, and he knew it, so it was possible they might have met before.
Shaking his head he sat down near her, his fingers strumming the guitar, playing something soothing and classic. "Nice weather we're having huh?"

If Sarafina could scream she would have, but Steve startled that right out of her. Looking at the male she quickly lays back down on her stomach "Um...do you have to sit this close? I mean there is a whole beach." brushing off her pants, she goes back to typing.
Maybe if she didn't pay attention to him, he would go away. That it, just give him the cold shoulder.

Ouch! Slap to the face via words, that stung. He looked her over and rather liked how she looked on her back, but he was a good boy, really! Nodding his head a bit he chuckled and scooted back a foot, still strumming his guitar. "I meant no offense, just wanted to come over and say hi, be friendly. You work here?" An easy question to start, she seemed indifferent and Steve liked a challenge.
There was something about her, now that he could see her face, that was so familiar, he couldn't put his finger on it yet, but he knew her form somewhere he was sure!

Sarafina arches a brow before shaking her head "Sorry, but no I don't work here, I was brought to the isle not to long ago. Why do you ask?" her nose wrinkles up alittle as she found talking to him wasn't a good thing. In the back of her mind she kept hearing her father yelling at her.
But the music he was strumming, seem to be familiar to her. She didn't understand why though. But she heard it somewhere before. Shakign her head, she pushes her hand through her hair before sitting up once again. Her hands moving to adjust her top once again.

Heeello! She defiantly was only scoring higher in his book after he was able to get a look of her now that she was sitting fully upright. He didn't let his eyes linger to long, instead looking down at his strings for a second before looking up at her face. "Oh, no reason, curiosity mainly," Odd... You'd think a facility like this wouldn't have guests... Shaking his head to clear the thought, and focus more on the girl he looked over her face again.
So familiar.
"Name's Steve, who might you be?"

Shaking her head Sarafina closes her laptop. Glancing back toward Steve she shrugs alittle "Sarafina Howes." without a thought, she stans slowly, kicking off her shoes as she pulls her pants down. Laying them to the side, she moves slowly towards the water.

She seemed to be relaxing around him, this was a good sign in his book. He let his eyes scan her again, checking her out, but being sneaky about it. Then it hit him, it hit him like a mallet between the eyes. Oh Legendaries... He almost had a heart attack.
"Do I know you from somewhere?" He asked suddenly, his fingers stopping on the strings a moment so he could hear her better.
Put a skirt on those legs and he knew her.

Looking over her shoulder, Sarafina blinks before a brow arches "Excuse me? No I'm sorry I don't know who you are." although she kept to herself the fact she knew the chords he played on the guitar. She could have heard them anywhere, and all guitars made the same noise.
Turning away again, she bends over as she runs her fingers through the water. It was cool, so she knew it would freeze her for a few second, but it would be worth it.

Where had he seen her... Where... OH! OH! AHA!
"Saffron City, you went to a girl's school there right?" He asked suddenly, it was a wild guess, there were a lot of schools out that way, and it had been a year or two since then, but he remembered... He remembered.
She'd walked through the park he played a lot at to get some extra cash, she never stopped to listen but she probably could have heard. He strummed a few more chords, ones she would for sure recognize if she'd walked through that park.

Sarafina froze as she heard him say the city she did indeed go to school at. Turning she seem to grow pale before she narrows her eyes at him "How did you know which school I went to? What are you a stalker?" taking a few steps back, she yelps as she hits a rock only to end up under the water.

"Me! A stalker?! Steve Callahan does not stalk!" Steve huffed, placing his guitar beside him and standing up, crossing his arms looking at her. He shook his head then and let the indignation pass and moved over to her, not caring that his shoes got wet, and offered her a hand up.
"No, I just used to play in the park there, moved around a lot, didn't really have a good education or a steady job at the time, so I was a bit of a drifter, the park was my best gig tho. I seen you around there a lot, with your friends. Never did get up the nerve to talk to you and you never stayed around to listen to me play like some of the other girls, didn't think you were interested in anything but your schooling,"
Bowing his head a bit he chuckled. "Small world huh?"

Sitting in the water, she glares up at him before taking his hand "Are you sure your not thinking of someone else? A ton of girls walk through that park everyday. So it likely that your thinking I am someone else." brushing the wet sand that was plastered to her bikini bottoms, she sighs.
She couldn't believe it was him, she seen him so many times in the park. Actually asked her friends to walk through the park. Just so she could see him, and listen for a moment. She was scared to talk to him, just because she heard the stories of who he was.

Steve chuckled and kissed her knuckle, looking into her eyes for a moment, "I never forget a face," Pulling his head back an bowing a bit he slowly let go of her hand when she was vertical and he smiled. "It seems I've been 'hired' to work here... But I've not been told what my job is or what I would be doings... Sooo..." He motioned vaugely back towards the facility.
"Wanna go on a walk or something? Chat?" He asked, bowing a bit again. "I mean it's cool if you'd rather do something different, just think it would be cool to hang with someone from the past is all," It was here for sure.
Slap her in a uniform and it was her. God, he wished she'd stop and listen just once... Just ONCE! He could have charmed her and maybe life would have been different.
Ah well, least he could get to know her now.
