::she stood on the face of the cliff, her hair and wings being pulled by the wind, her eyes half closed. It was a secluded place, you had to fly to get to it, so she was reasonably assured of not being bothered. She just wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. If she could be with some one she could truly love, even as a friend, some one she'd be comfortable with, she'd trade all the peace in the world for it. However, if it was some one just around to pester and annoy her.... she stamped a hoof in irritation before bending all four knees to rest on her legs. she leaned her head back, and sent a thought into the night. A friend, that's all I want. Some one who will get to know me long enough for me to be comfortable. Some one who wont run away or irritate the flames out of me. Just.... I wish for some one I can love and be loved by. Is that really... too much to ask?

Reeve zoomed though the air like a hummingbird. "Hrrr, docks to the right, Brrr docks to the left- oh oh! tree! collision course! Pull up! Pull up driver one!" He stopped before he hit the tree and powwered out, grinning with delight. Then he realised he's flown off a cliff. "Aaaaah!" he shouted and he dog paddled back to air with ground underneath lathering and leaning his neck forward until he dropped gratefully onto the ground.

::she yelped at the sound and scrambled to her feet, getting to them just as he landed. she blinked rapidly. Was this some little lost yearling who had been blown off course? She whimpered mentally, though she didn't show it. She was no good with little ones. And adult, why couldn't have been an adult? Her wings fluttered nervously as she watched him. Now that she was standing, the moving of her wings was all that kept her from looking still as a statue.::

Reeve stood up and blinked. "Scary." he looked up at Cinnamon Sugar. "I wasn't scared!" he said defiantly to her. "Why would you think I was scared?"

Reeve blinked. No-one had ever called him scared before. "Yeah yeah?" he asked loudly. "Well you're fat!"

"Oh that's inventive," she said, tossing her hair again, knowing it flickered like embers in the wind. "Calling a girl fat. Never heard that one. If you're going to insult some one, respect them enough to be creative about it, yellow belly." She winced internally though it didn't show. there was her mouth, running away from her again. Why couldn't she just admit how bad he had startled her? Admit that she was lonely?

Reeve grinned. "I may not be inventive, but if you're saying being yellow is insulting, you might want to look in a mirror, because you're yellow! You just insulted yourself," said Reeve, leaving nothing to chance, chuckling nastily.

She wanted to laugh, but again her mouth betrayed her. "Your brain living in another body at the moment, or is it the genetic illness of being male that makes you so stupid. Yellow figuratively, and besides. I'm gold! not yellow. Pea brain."

"How vain are you to think I have the least intrest in the size of youyr body?" she asked hautily. "You'd be a pea brain even of your body was the size of a mountain, no not a pea brain, you're right. For thinking I'd care about something like that I was grossly overstating the case, why you haven't a brain at all, have you?" She wanted to kick herself, but the treacherous words wouldn't stop. She wanted to fly away and hide, but her feet stayed rooted. Why? Why did this always happen when she met some one new?
