 Forte and Thanatos had gone wandering for a new area. Haru had come along with them, making a makeshift family. Haru and Thanatos had gone off to explore and hunt, and Forte wanted to take alook around the new area they had come too. She sniffed at the ground, as she came up upon the river. She could sell a faint sent of other wolves, it had been days, of not weeks old. She looked around, and as she came out, she was in a river lagoon. It was a pretty area for sure. There was something about it that jsut caught her eye. She knew Thanatos wouldn't really appricaite it as much, but she really loved being with him. As she moved into the Lagoon, she sat down, letting her ears twitch and her blue eyes look around.

 Jaden paddled along the river, again. He had been checking up the lagoon every once in a while, wondering if Lunar would come back. He knew she could just come to him if she wanted to since he wasn't in a pack anymore but it didn't make him stop trying. When he was near the lagoon, he stopped. He smelled another wolf. He got out of the river and shook -- he wasn't really used to walking with wet fur yet -- and padded over to the edge of the lagoon. What he saw stopped him dead in his tracks. 'She's beautiful.' he thought. "Erm, h-hullo," he said to the black and blue female he saw. He wondered what she was doing here since he'd never smelled another wolf for quite some time.

Forte's ears twitched and she looked over at the white and red male. She smiled at him a little. "Oh, hello there. I'm sorry if I'm intruding i just happened on this place, and its rather lovely. " She stood up and moved out of his way in case he was planning on getting out of the water. "Are you from around here? I'm not, I'm just passing through with a few friends."

When she moved, it seemed like an invitation, so he got out of the river. He padded a little away from her and shook. He didn't want to get her wet. "Oh! No, you're not intruding, I don't think any pack has claimed this land yet, a-and yes it is quite lovely." he said in a hurry. I'm so stupid, he thought, giving himself a mental whack in the face. "Yes, I've been around here for quite a while," he said, nodding. "You're friends? Where are they now if it's not too rude to ask?" he replied.

She smiled at him and nodded. "Ah, they went to look for some food, and move a little further. I wanted to spend some more time in the area." She glanced over at him. "It's always good to know where you have been." She nodded. "Really? No one has? In its own way, its a shame, but it's also be a shame if I had to miss it." She laughed. It was nice to talk to someone else, Thanatos was kind of hard to talk too, and Haru was still to young.

"Well, there's a nice area full of deer around here, close to the Royal Protectors territory," he said to her first comment. "And yes, it seems many are attracted to this place, strange that none has claimed it but I'm glad for that because it means others can visit here, also." he tried to sound intelligent and smiled at her laughter.

She sniffed at the air, it was fresh and it smelt good. "What other types of wolves are in the area?" She looked over a him. She was curious about it, it might be a place, she and Thanatos could possible settle down with Haru... She shook her head a little at the idea. Thanatos settle? She's end up giving all her dreams because she... Her mind wandered and she caught herself be looking at him. He was awfully handsome.

"Not many yet," he replied, "Although the ones in Royal Protectors resemble deer." he smiled when he remembered that he used to wonder whether Great Prince allowed his pack to hunt deer. "I think this area is pretty new, not many wolves are used to land without the war from the North and South so there's a lot of free space here." he blushed and looked down when he noticed her looking at him. He thought she was beautiful, and she reminded him of Lunar, because they both had a cresent moon and stars on their pelt. Her stars were different, though. They had five points whereas Lunar's were soft glows. He shook his head, It's rude to compare others, he told himself.

Forte blinked and nodded, that soudned about right, Thanatos wanted to go and see the new regions. She glanced around a little and back at him. "Deer huh? thats interesting... I heard the other territoy that's been open is winged wovles." She looked at him wandering if he had known or not about the rumor. "Hm... maybe me and my friends will... settle in the area. I like it enough."

"Yea, I was surprised when I first saw Great Prince's horns!" he laughed. "I think his son is growing some, too." He twitched his ear, it felt itchy, and pawed at it. "I believe it's this territory that has the winged wolves," he told her, "The leader's name is Helki, I think, and it's said that she has four wings." His ear was getting very ticklish now, and he bent down to scratch it hoping he didn't look silly to her. "Yes, this area is very nice," he said, nodding. "If you don't mind the humans and their villages, that is."

Forte blinked at him and she padded over and when she could she caught his ear in her mouth and she lightly chewed on it, in a scratching manner for him. "Really? Hm... So it'll sure be an adventure to meet all these other wolves." She laughed some. She wondered if she ever make it to hte west to see the wings there.

"Erm, thanks," he said, blushing furiously and looking down. "A-and yes, I s-suppose." It was hard to concentrate when she was so close to him. He started beating his tail softly against the ground just for something to do. "S-so, um, what are your friends like?"

She was glad she could help him. She knew the itchy ear thing all to well. She shook her head some and thought. "Well lets start with Haru. I recently found him in a bush." She laughed a little, she remembered picking him up by the scuff of his neck and pulling him out to show Thanatos. "He's a darling boy, who recently turned into an adolescent. He treats me more like a mother then anything else, I guess. He asks me for permission to do this and that. It's cute." She pawed at the ground. "Then there's Thanatos. He's a bit grumpy all the time. He doesn't socialize well with other. But I've known him since I was pup and I'm usually always by his side. I can't picture my life with out him." She nodded. She couldn't save that she wanted to be his mate or anything, and even less to a stranger since she and Thanatos haven't exactly crosssed that bridge yet.

He chuckled when she told him about Haru. He rememebred he was like that, when he still lived in his parent's pack. Hmm, she's known this Thanatos for most of her life? And it sounded like she was infatuated with him.... His alpha side growled in irritation. Since he was strong, why could he not take her? Surely, this Thanatos wouldn't be that hard to defeat. But his reasonable side told him that he had no right to get into other's buisness, just because he happened to think she was pretty... He shook his head to clear away the thoughts. "You know, you and your friends are like a small pack." he said, giving her a small wolf grin.

Forte nodded at him. She had, had the same thought. "Though we are pretty dysfunctional." She shook her head a little at the idea. Thanatos made it clear he didn't want to clear family with Forte and Haru. Not that Forte herself wanted to play, but Haru required a parented environment. "Ah Well, we make do pretty well."
