Ruko's forest is not too far off from Vulcan's peak- about a few days journey. it borders a human village full of anti dragon sentiment. The children of the village don't care, and go in to play with Ruko, the young dragon who lives there. But lately, the kids haven't been able to find Ruko....
While Ruko was gone, a logging camp that was being built finally went into operation. This is great for the humans in the village- profits from the wood will allow them to grow and improve their quality of life. After all, everyone needs wood what with all the angry dragons terrorizing the countryside and stealing humans to bind to. Its cheaper than stone.
Unfortunately, nobody needs the wood more, while its still a tree, more than the woodland wildlife... and the strange wild elves. The elves oppose the cutting down of their forest, but they need more strength- something that will make the humans back off. What do they want? Dragons.
((although this is mainly made to show how Ruko found his bound, and so that Bloodshed and Damon (played by Bigfoot9000) get more rp, anybody can join.
However, you must be on one side or the other.
the side of the forest, the woodland animals, and the wild fae
or the side of the humans and much-needed industry. Rp whatever you need to.))

Ruko took a deep breath of earthy forest air. "Well, this is it. What do you think?" he asks his companions, Damon and Bloodshed.

Standing on a hill that over-looked the elf forest Damon was amazed by the sheer beauty that the forest still carried. 'Its amazing..." Damon says, still scanning his eyes over the forest.

"I know" said Ruko, rumbling happily. It looks smaller than it did before... he thought in a puzzled fashion, still grinning at the sight of his forest. He was Home. "Lets go! I want to see if my nest is still there!" he gallops forward.

"Alright then." Damon says, trudging along behind the _____ colored dragon, his own dragon Bloodshed following suit like a well trained dog. (I don't remember what color Ruko was.)

Ruko runs, his claws crunching on stone, then on grass, then on small plants, and finally on leaves. he crossed the boundary into the forest. and he stopped, waiting for the human and dragon to catch up.
It was shady and cool in the forest. So nice after the openness of the outside world.
((would be a good point to get another character in?))

(Fine by me. Why? Ruko finally going to get Dragon-bound?)
Damon and Bloodshed easily kept pace with the dragon leading them. Over the weeks of travel, Damon and Bloodshed's bond had grown as had the small ruddy brown-red dragon. Now the size of a great dane, the young dragon had become a very intimidating creature.
(Finally back in the guild! 3nodding )

((I suppose i'll have to sad nobody rping and with just us its not going to be as interesting...
oh well. lets rp and hope that people join.))
"TIMBERRRRR!" shouts a human voice, and Ruko had to jump back very quickly as a tall tree came to the ground with a great crash and a rattle.
Ruko stood stunned, staring at the tree that had nearly crushed him.
Trees weren't supposed to fall! they were supposed to stand tall and sheltering!
"wh... whats going on?" he asked shakily, unsure of what was happening in HIS forest. and afraid.
((but no, not yet. first, we meet the humans))

"Lumber harvesting apparently." Damon states pointing out the location of the fallen tree. "Good thing you're always on your toes..."
