Such a bad idea...

Now, let me be clear. The idea of a remake of RHPS doesn't bother me, per se.

But the fact that MTV is involved... that worries me greatly! When in the last ten years has MTV produced anything that could be considered quality entertainment? And so help me God, if anyone says anything positive about "The Hills", I will punch them in the face where their face lives.

there is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED for anybody to do a remake of the RHPS. grrrrrrrrrrrr

I would have to see it before I come to a conclusion either way, or at least see a trailer or information of some kind.

right now i don't feel like it's a good idea but i don't have a clue as to who will be casted for it and i want to wait til i hear a cast list at least before making up my mind. also a trailer might be nice too.

Here are two things that I think would make an RHPS re-make tolerable.

1: MTV is not involved in any way, shape or form.

2: Joss Whedon is brought on to direct. I mean, just look at "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog." and the musical episode of "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer"; it's obvious that he gets it... for lack of a better term.

So to sum up, Joss Whedon and NO MTV INVOLVEMENT would make a remake watchable in my opinion.
