I've been in Namiah for a fair amount of time. While I have spent much of it within Namiah, actually socializing and living my life, lately it seems that I spend almost no time living my own life. Today, this changes. In honor of this change in my life where I come back out into the open, I am writing this journal to keep track of everything both in the past and in the present.

My Family
I feel it best to start at the beginning- my roots. Here is where I will list my blood family and what I know about them.
My Grandparents
Taboo
Taboo is my grandpa, owned by Ririka. I don't know much about him, but he and my grandmother don't seem to get along. Still, I have to believe that he loves her and is probably missing her right now.
Cressida
Cressida is my grandma, owned by North. I only met her once, the same time I met my grandpa and all my aunts and uncles, but she seems nice. Currently missing.
My Aunts and Uncles
Rath
This is my uncle from Taboo's and Cressida's first litter. I don't know much about him at all. Owned by Ririka.
Patience
This is my aunt from Taboo's and Cressida's first litter. Mom says that Patience rubs her the wrong way, but she seemed pretty nice to me. Maybe Patience just doesn't like Mom. Currently missing.
Keir
This is my youngest uncle from Cressida and Taboo's second litter. I don't know him very well either...
Talitha
This is one of my younger aunts from Cressida and Taboo's second litter. Again, I don't know her very well.
Pandora
This is another of my younger aunts from Cressida and Taboo's second litter, though to be honest she is more like a friend or an olders sister than an aunt. She is very nice, and looks after my well being. Mom really likes her.
My Parents
Alec
This is my dad, whom I most resemble. He seems nicer than his siblings aside from Pandora, and is from Taboo's and Cressida's first litter. Currently missing, and I hope he comes back soon.
Akiko
This is my mom. She's just as nice as my dad, though lately she's been feeling awfully depressed. The cause is obvious- dad's unnanounced departure. Since he went missing, her mood has been going downhill. I tried my best to cheer her up, but to no avail. Now I'm sick of it, and I'm just going to leave her be and see what happens while I live my life once more.
My Siblings
Midas
This is my brother, Midas. He's very possessive, always declaring me HIS sister, but you gotta love him. He really does take after Mom for looks, now doesn't he? Currently missing.
Lucina
Lucina is my sister, and also seems to resemble Mom. She isn't owned my North like Panda, Dad, or Midas, but she's also missing. Why is half my family gone?

Unrelated Family
Some family ties aren't bound by blood. Here are some individuals who are like family, but not actually related to me. These are such individuals.
Zinnia
This is Zinnia, a member of Sara's family. She's sort of like an older sister, especially since Mom adopted her when she was a kit. Currently she is raising her own family of four (Yakir, Yuri, Dorian, and Corbin) with her mate Itomaru.
Eyulf
Eyulf isn't much older than I am, yet is sort of a big brother that taught me much about life. He's had a a pretty interesting life as far as I'm concerned. He's had a crush on someone he felt guilty about crushing on because of an age difference (Nessarose), been on a date with my Auntie Panda, yet is still single. He's helping Shiboo and Obsidian raise their youngest daughter Cyrena.

My Friends
My friends help make me who I am, and it's important to remember them. Here are the ones that I recall most.
Reni
Reni is my best friend growing up. She's engaged, but she's also missing. *sigh* Yet another disappearance.
Shiboo
Shiboo came to Namiah fairly recently compared to when I was born. I painted him a picture one time in honor of our friendship. Right now he's married to Obsidian with 6 children.
Schokolade
I met Schokolade while on the beach. I really liked him, perhaps more than as a friend. Still...I didn't see him for a while and those feelings went away. I guess it was more of a crush than infactuation.
Dusyanta
I've spoken to Dusyanta a couple of times so far, and both conversations were really nice. I don't know if he does, but I consider him a friend. I wonder what we'll talk about next time we meet...
Donnie
Donnie is a namir I met a couple of days ago. He helped me try to figure out what was happening to the namrah who disappeared and while it ended in failure I appreciate the effort. We're going to write a book together too. Not only that, but we may be on our way to being more than just friends.

The New Start [8/1/08]
I spoke to someone today about my troubles with my mom. It was nice to speak to a complete stranger. Sort of like getting a lead weight off my chest. It helped reinforce the decision I made to live my life and leave my mom alone.

Old Friends [8/4/08]
Today I met up with Kieran, who I was friends with when I was little. It was pretty nice speaking with him again and seeing how he was doing. We mostly talked about how wierd it was that most namrah in Namiah were out on dates. Kinda makes me feel left out to think that...

Reunion [8/12/08]
After speaking to Candi for a little while about Halloween and adoption, I saw the same stranger I met the day I made my return. Turns out his name is Dusyanta, and we had a nice conversation about various things, including namrah who you never see again.

Conspiracy? [8/20/08]
Today was Maiya's baby shower, where I met a namir named Donnie. We spoke about familes, and then about disappearances. He opened my eyes to the idea that the human's disappearing might be a conspiracy, and that we might be able to get to the bottom of it. Tomorrow we're planning on meeting up again to draw up a list of all those who had gone missing.

Disappointment [8/21/08]
Today was very unproductive. No one had any information about the missing namrah and humans. I suppose things aren't any different than before, but the very fact that I let hope set it just makes things worse. I should stop thinking about this and live my life, otherwise I'm just going to get more depressed. On a lighter note, Donnie and I went for a walk and had a nice chat about books.

Writing a Book [8/24/08]
Today I met up with Donnie again while I was drawing a waterfall. We talked for a bit about books, and concluded that we should make a picture book for adults. He also asked me out on a date, scheduled for tomorrow. I can't believe how excited I'm getting! We're going to be going to the mountain to see if it's a nice sight to illustrate for our book. I wonder how this date will turn out. I hope it's a good one.
