 It's been years since Harry Potter and his friends left Hogwarts. Now, a new generation of wizards and witches has come, but there's a few things that haven't changed. Slytherins are still (mostly) jackasses, with all that 'pureblood' crap and stuff. Gryffindors are still bravely bordering the line between 'brave' and 'stupid'. Ravenclaws still unfailingly remind us that they are and always will be smarter. Hufflepuffs.. well, they're still the ones that sort out the mess that happens when those three get together. The whole thing starts out in summer, when all these purebloods get together for a cookout. Yeah, a cookout. Whatever. Fate happens when a Slytherin boy and a Gryffindor girl run into each other. They become friends upon discovering they actually have a lot in common. Anyway, when they go back to Hogwarts, there's something wrong. People are being attacked again in the old castle, and no one knows who is behind it. It's really a Slytherin, destined to rise like Lord Voldemort so many years before, and the boy and girl figure this out. They find themselves the targets of the next few attacks, and things get out of hand. A new generation of "Death Eaters" is starting to form, with this Slytherin behind the attacks the new "Voldemort". History is repeating itself, and they have to stop it before it really gets out of hand.

[i] When in this thread, I am the Ultimate Overlord of All Evil. What I say, goes.
[ii] Be active. Don't come and not post or come and post once or twice and leave.
[iii] Please, tell us if you're going away for more than two days.
[iv] Use size 9, 10, or 11 text, and italicize your character's thoughts. Color your character's speech and thoughts with your character's color.
[v] PM me all profiles. Title the PM 'The New Generation'
[vi] Absolutely no godmodding. Your spells will not always hit -- most spells are easily blocked or simply dodged. Also, unless your character is a bloody genius of some sort, they won't always get the hang of extremely hard spells first try. I mean, even Harry had to work at the Patronus charm for a while before it actually worked.
[vii] Use correct grammar and spelling, chatspeak is a no-no.
[viii] Make your posts pretty. Picutures, lyrics, quotes, whatever. Anything that makes it look good.
[ix] Romance is not just encouraged in this roleplay, it's expected. I don't care what kind of romance, but there better be lots of it.
[x] Cursing is acceptable, just not every other word.
[xi] I want romance, but I don't want the making of the babies. If it does even get that far, please either take it to PM's or time-skip to after.
[xii] As for post sizes, no one-liners. As long as it gives people something adequate to work with, and it contains no chatspeak and such, I'm okay with it.
[xiii] Don't make up spells. Chances are, you won't need to anyways. They're already made for you: [spell list]
Don't let this roleplay die.
Don't be afraid to chat a little in OOC, but only put OOC at the bottom of your roleplay posts; not in a post by itself.
Also, don't pull the "She opened the door. She walked out of her dorm. She.." routine. It's annoying.
More rules will be added if necessary.

The Three Broomsticks is a favourite pub among Hogwarts students and staff. Hogsmeade Station [x]The Hogwarts Express departs from King's Cross.Hogsmeade Station is the closest train stop to Hogwarts; the Hogwarts Express stops here after travelling from King's Cross. Hogsmeade station is not actually in Hogsmeade, but on the opposite side of the lake. The Hog's Head The Hog's Head is another pub, which often attracts a more unusual and private clientele than the Three Broomsticks, and many of the customers hide their faces. The hanging sign on the front of the pub has a severed boar's head, leaking blood onto the white cloth around it. The pub itself is filthy, with the floor covered with layers of dirt, and the windows smeared with so much grime that little light gets through. The main floor is a single room, but there are additional rooms on the upper floors. The pub smells strongly of goats. Dervish & Banges A shop that sells and repairs magical equipment, Dervish & Banges is located near the end of the High Street. Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop Scrivenshaft's is a stationery shop located on the High Street. Scrivenshafts sells everything for all of your writing needs. Gladrags Wizardwear Gladrags Wizardwear sells clothing. There are other branches in London and Paris. It is full of quirky merchandise, and appears to specialise in strange and unusual socks. Madam Puddifoot's Located on a little side street off the main High Street, Madam Puddifoot's is a small teashop favourite among Hogwarts couples out on dates. On Valentine's Day Madam Puddifoot hires floating golden cherubs to throw pink confetti on visiting couples. Honeydukes Sweetshop Honeydukes Sweetshop is one of the most famous wizarding confectioneries in the world. It sells wizarding sweets of all descriptions, including Chocolate Frogs, Liquorice Wands, Pepper Imps, Chocoballs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, Fizzing Whizzbees, Drooble’s Best Blowing Gum, Toothflossing Stringmints, Ice Mice, Cockroach Clusters, Jelly Slugs, Blood Lollipops, Acid Pops and Sugar Quills, among others. Honeydukes is particularly well known for their special kind of fudge. They also sell creamy chunks of nougat, shimmering pink squares of coconut ice, fat, honey-coloured toffees, and hundreds of different kinds of chocolate. Post Office The Post Office is filled with at least two–to–three–hundred owls, ranging from Great Grey Owls to tiny Scops (the latter for "local deliveries only"), hooting down from colour-coded shelves. The shelves are colour-coded based on how quickly they will arrive at their destination. The Shrieking Shack The Shrieking Shack, on the outskirts of Hogsmeade, is believed to be the most haunted building in Great Britain. It is connected to Hogwarts by a secret tunnel.

She's easy-going, taking life as it comes; as well as friendly to all. But it's what goes on inside her head is anything but simple-- Her mind never stops thinking. Ever. She thinks things through thoroughly in short spaces of time, which tends to give her a headache. Sometimes she tends to overthink things, which gives her a touch of paranoia.
Well, not really paranoia, but it's close. This over-thinking makes her lazy, since sleep is the only reprieve from thinking she gets. She is also about as ambitious as a rock. She'll try a little, but if she doesn't succeed, she'll probably roll over and give up. But she does stand up for herself and others; that and Quidditch is the only thing she tries at. And speaking of Quidditch; she likes it because it's simple. No thinking required. For her, it's just hit the bludgers towards the other team and away from her own. Simple, really. She's also a natural flyer-- with her good balance and senses, she doesn't really have to pay too much attention to her flying.
She's also extremely clear-headed and (usually) calm, never getting overly angry over something she figures isn't worth it. So it's very hard to get her angry. But she does have a strict sense of honor-- she won't fight an unarmed person, even if it is for her life. Well, maybe. She'd probably make an exception if she was inches away from death. Anyways, she also won't lie to people, unless it's for their own good. But lying for the sake of lying? No, she'll give you the cold, honest truth.
