The sun was just beginning to come up. She was thankful that the warm glow and bright light would help keep her away. It was hard for her to stay up all night. She couldn't remember the last time she had slept. The dark circles around her eyes became more noticeable with each passing day. Still, she could not sleep. If she did, Death would get her. She had to be on her guard at all times. She knew that Death was waiting to consume her. Even now, the shadows were swirling around her legs, working slowly up her body. She always had the sinking feeling that when they did, she would die.

It didn't help that a raven stayed with her constantly. He had made his appearance the same day the shadows began to form. Why couldn't she have been as unique as her sisters? Why did she get shadows and the ill feeling of death?

"It's not all bad," she whispered into the wind. The raven kept her company and sometimes they had interesting conversations. If she was meant to die, she was thankful for the company at least.

There was only one thing that Delmare cared about in life. She knew deep down she had a sisterly bond to cherish and keep hold of, and not far from her current position stood a very familiar blood. It was a sister she hadn't seen in ages, and the mare was, of course, committed to seeing her. She didn't understand why she cared for her truthful bond, but it was comforting to always have it there.

Although it took great effort, Delmare dragged her accursed anchor across the crusty sand. Inch by inch she moved, until finally spotting the bright figure ahead of her. Hades was always a sight to see, and Delmare watched as a familiar crow lingered on her tail. Delmare rather hated that crow, but she refused to tell her sister any opinion on it. She wasn't the type to care about anything specific, so she just ignored the crow when she could.

"Sister sister, blood, sister!" she then said, while dragging herself slowly across the sand. What a pain her existence was, but at least she was making an effort towards something for once.

Her gold yellow her sticking out through her hair.
And the other with a similar hard do and also a unicorn, navy blue horn and coat, her tail was busy-er that the other, and she was restrained at the ankles on one the with anchor, akuba thought his eye were deceiving him, but apparently not, surly that rope would be cutting through her leg?
Akuba her the second mare call to the first,he didn't know what he was getting himself into but he decided to hang around a while longer.

Eyes blazing with blue fire, Pyralis thought that she smelled a familiar scent on the wind. Two familiar scents, in point of fact. She flared her nostrils, breathing in deeply to try to determine from whence it came. She had much experience with searching out her siblings. They so rarely cleaved together, being too independent by far to do so for long stretches of time. Still, in those brief bursts of camaraderie, she felt quite justified in joining in.

Her sisters were a unique bunch, none alike unto the others, not really. There were similarities, but they were much less common than the differences. Snorting, the unicorn mare picked her way through the underbrush, small licks of flame following in her path. A low, throaty laugh filled the air as she caught sight of Hades. Always alone, that mare, but for the raven who so often was at her side.

"Why Hades, how excellent to see you. You look like hell," she said smoothly, the impression of flames repeated within the sapphires that adorned her armor. On her ankle, the family bracelet hung, a splash of blue against an otherwise pristine white leg. Did she hear the liquid tones of Delmare's voice?

Hades sighed to herself. Though she was always pleased to see her sisters, each time only reminded her that it could be the last time. She could never be sure when Death would win the every lingering battle. Well, now that Pyralis and Delmare were here, she was going to make the best of it.

Delmare always moved around so slowly. Hades couldn't help but feel sorry for her. Perhaps it was as much an annoyance as the raven that refused to leave her alone. Forced to have a constant partner and not always one you are comfortable with. To be honest, Hades couldn't remember a time where Delmare did not have the anchor dragging about behind her. How strange. Was her memory now fading? "Hello sister," she called back before turning to Pyralis.

"If I don't keep watching it, I'll not only look like Hell, but I'll be there." She nodded to the shadows sweeping around her feet. Grumbling, she stomped around the ground a few times to get the shadows to dissipate once more.
