Justine walked softly. She barely made a sound as she moved through the dense underbrush. She was used to hunting in a forest, used to having the foliage press in around her as if it wanted to suffocate her. She knew better. As a child she had feared it, she had imagined it was a crazy god trying to keep her out. But now she knew better. It was nature, and it was hiding her, keeping her identity a secret from the world. She was a huntress and this was her nature. She had tamed the trees and nothing could escape her.
She continued to move, like a shadow, the only trail she left was the occasional paw print in the soft earth. She was a ghost. But then the trees ended. Justine stopped, she was surprised. She had never reached the end of the forest before. She had never wanted to leave her lands except to visit her teacher Talia. But when she left with a purpose she expected the trees to end. She never went this far to hunt. It was strange. Well maybe there is no game out tonight She thought to herself, as she sat there. She was still in her hunting state of mind and so did not leave the shadow of the trees.
From where she stood she could see the river that seperated the Hremidar lands from the rebels, and a little further where the river turns and marks the Brynhild lands. She had not gone to visit in a while..but she felt no nee to now. She just sat there in the shadows. Her own dark purple markings seeming to move over her body as she took steady breaths. Her green only a shade lighter than the foliage around her. She looked so proud and inquisitive, it was just as she felt. Her body had always been a mirror into her soul.

Tromping loudly through the underbrush Sir Bandit kept his nose in the air. Pausing for half a second he sniffed. Rabbit, no problem. He froze in place and then, fast as a bullet, rocketed into the trees. He never hit a tree, probably never would. He took longer leaps then many thought possible. He had been training since childhood for this. Hunting was his passion, and scenting ran in his blood.
Another flying leap and he was in front of the rabbit. A sharp turn brought him almost nose to nose with the fleeing creature. A hiss and a swipe of his paw brought his prey down easily. He rose now, prey locked in his jaws. Heading towards the end of the trees he paused. There was another scent. Female. Bryhild like himself. Female... He turned and padded softly the other way.

(( hehe river Justine is Hremidar xD))
Justine had been too wrapped up in her thoughts to hear much but just as she began to turn to go home she heard something. It sounded large, it was going the opposite direction from where she was but it didnt sound like it was all too gracefull. She began to stalk the creature, she couldnt see what it was, she could only hear it. She made a path parallel to it and moved as she was taught. She blended into the shadows and slipped through the bushes and trees like a sumer wind.
She could sense it was close. Well actually she could hear it tramping through the bushes. It obviously didnt know how to move in the dense underbrush. She still had no scent, she had never been to good at that, but she knew that she would have a clear shot at the end of the bush she was currently using for cover.
As the creature came neared Justines ambush point she could smell blood, whatever it was had just killed. She hesitated a moment, she knew it sounded big and now she knew it ate meat. But she could not risk going home empty handed, that would ruin her reputation. Well worst comes to worst I'll just take whatever it has, I know these forests better after all She comforted herself with these thoughts and then Jumped.
She used all of her weight to knock her prey off its feet. They both rolled a few times, but Justine's mind was working, she got her legs under her and jumped, effectively pinning down her purple prey....wait...purple??
Justine stared for a moment at the fafner she had just pinned down, a purple male....with lotus blooms....she was starting to remember meeting one like this when she had been younger....he was visiting her teacher...with another fafner....when Ophelia had been with-child....As Justine stared at him she suddenly knew who he was.
"Bandit?!" She asked, half surprised half questioning. She still wasnt sure, she had only seen him once and he had been with Cera. A fafner that tends to hang around her teacher Talia's family.
She suddenly realised just how close she was to Bandit, as she was pinning him down their chests almost touched. Justine blushed slightly and gracefully jumped off of Bandit.
"Oh sorry I didnt know you were here in the forests, I was hunting and I caught the scent of your kill...I didnt mean to tackle you like that..." She prattled on nervously. She had really never been that close to a male before, not since the games she would play as a fluff when everyone tumbles everywhere. It felt strange, and akward, she padded over to where the rabbit had fallen and sat next to it waiting for Bandit to recover and wondering what his reaction would be.

(I know that. ;D He doesn't. Sorry this took so long. *yawn*)
Bandit knew she was coming. Although she made no sound that he could hear, her scent was overwhelming. She smelled of the forests like himselfm and of the blood of her prey. Plus he had already seen her, if she was stupid enough to think of him as prey she was going to regret it. Because, if she had a nose like his, she would know that he was also a warrior.
Letting her easily tackle him Bandit flipped the two of them over so he was on top. A girl, he had to remind himself, not prey and not the enemy. He decided not to speak, he didn't like females and he was pretty sure the didn't like him. Leaping over her he made sure his tail didn't touch her face.
Now he was running. He could never run as fast as Kentiphae, his uncle in-law, but he was still above average. He did know how to run in the forest, although he was earlier astounded by the female's grace, dispite himself. It was like she had been born in the forest, and knew the surroundings.

((No problem its ok))
Justine didnt understand why he ran, she had already jumped off of him. Maybe it wasnt Bandit, maybe she had tackled a stranger?! The thought made her blush in embarassement. She saw him run through the trees with adequate skill, not even close to her own grace. he still made noise in the forest, he didnt know how to ask the trees to stand still, or avoid the small green branches that whiped as he passd them. She could hear him even when he was out of sight and she shook her head.
"Well i guess it wasnt Bandit, aw I was kind of hoping it was, I havent seen him in a while." Justine was about to leave when the scent of the rabbit came to her again. It was lying in front of her, he had forgotten it. She picked it up and shrugged.
"Well since its not even anyone I know and he didnt bother to take it back..." She began to rationalize why she could take the rabbit and walked slowly back the way she had come. Whomever it was seemed to leave in a hurry and she had no desire to catch someone who did not want to be caught. She didnt want to force anyone to do anything, and he hadnt even said hi! She had tackled him but still.
She walked silently, not bothering to hide her tracks, but still making no sound, after all she spent more time in the forest than anywhere else. She even slept there on occasion and so the forest always seemed to make paths for her. Or at least she always seemed to find paths. She continued to walk slowly and give her respect to the forest as she passed.

Bandit paused lightly, breath ragged. He wasn't even sure why he was running. Sitting for a moment's thought he relized that he knew that scent. Her scent. Justine's scent. He stood, torn, unsure. He did want to see her, strange for him.
He moved step by step towards the last place he saw her. It only took him one sniff to find out that it had to be Justine. Crap! How could he think she was Brynhild!? And how did she move like that? He had to get her to teach him...
Following her prints as quickly as he could he stopped behind her and looked around at her face for a brief second. "Uhh.." He said, with a slight cough. "Sorry about that Justine, I didn't really know it was you." He blinked shyly. He hoped that she even remembered him. Because he barely remembered the last time he saw her.

Justine saw that bandit had found her and was suddenly very happy that she had decided to take the rabbit instead of eating it. How embarassing would it have been if she had to face him while eating his kill! She put the rabbit down and smiled at Bandit.
"No dont apologize, it was my fault, I camt at you so suddenly. I just didnt know if you were a large animal or a fafner. I should be the one apologized, and so then here goes, I'm sorry." Justine bowed her head and nudged the rabbit back to Bandit
"Oh and I'm sorry I kinda took your rabbit, when you didnt answer I thought you were a stranger and so I took it, but now I feel weird eating a friends kill." Justine looked up again and had a little bit of an embarassed look to her. Now that she knew it really was bandit she relaxed a little and she sat down, the cool earth comforting. She smiled again when she remembered how noisily he had been trouncing through the woods and wondered if he knew that he was loud in the forest or if he was like most fafners and just assumed he was quiet.
Justine looked up and decided to start conversation, Bandit seemed a little embarassed at not being able to recognize her and she didnt want him to feel uncomfortable.
"Well its been a while since I last saw you Bandit, I think I had barely gotten used to my new limbs. Oh and the fluffs that werent even born are full adults now." Justine laughed a musical laugh, "Yeap its definately been a long time," she nudged him playfully "and as I recall I thought you were quite the bully to cresent." She laughed again and gave him a smile that would let him know that she no longer held that belif but found it funny that she once did.
