I've decided to begin a guest of a big item.
The Golden Laurels.
I'm going to do it by opening an avi art shop, because I suck at playing the marketplace.

So here's what I'm thinking.

Name: Faceless

Charge: 3k-6k for my signature little faceless illustrator headshots (like the guild banner guys)
8-12k for my hand drawn stuff

Examples:
Faceless:illustrated:

Questions/Things I need to ponder
.Good prices?
.How to set it up/advertise?
.Is it bad that I don't draw boys, except for the first example?
.Should I offer free little cutsie things or should I charge like 500g for them?
ex. chuckie.

.Is it a good/bad idea to have a guest section to my shop?

Any advice/suggestions/opinions? I want to know if you think it'll be okay.

I'll start working on banner's later tonight. And I'll start posting them.
Nobody really comes in this subforum.
It's kinda dead. But I'm planning on setting this up over the next week/two weeks. So I thank you guys for any help/advice/well wishes in advance and I'll do it again later.

I'll probably offer a guild discount as well.

I think people will really go for it (but you already knew my opinion xd )

Price sounds fair and I think people will go for it. See how many orders you get and set your prices accordingly. If it's in high demand, don't be shy about raising your prices or opening bribe slots.

Offering little free cutesy things to your first few customers will give you a good reputation, but definitely charge for them later.

Yeah, you should learn to draw guys, practice on me!! j/k, but not being able kinda limits who you can draw for. Definitely set up a section of things you prefer, will, and won't draw (ultra clutter, plushies, furrys, mecha, buff guys, etc..)

I'll help you advertise if you put a Chuckie on my pre-exisitng head :3

I'm still checking out how other shops do it to formulate my own.
Hopefully by the end of the weekend.

Nobody else ever checks this subforum out...

Looks like you've got most of it decided already. In the shops I've been to, they have:
- Their banner (of course)
- Sections for:
+Ground rules (Ok/not Ok to PM you, yes/no bumping, start trade now or wait until the art is finished, etc...)
+Pricing
+Samples of each style and optional extras
+Commission slots (how many are you willing to take on at any given time),
+Bribe slots
+Will and won't draw
+Black list (optional list of people you won't draw for)
+Thank you section for people who tip

That's because we venture outside of the Main Forum xd Maybe I should move this to the main page so you can get more than just my input.
