What are your views on abortion? Are you pro-abortion, pro-choice or pro-life? Why?

I'm pro-choice. It's the woman's body and personally I hate kids under the age of 11. To deny a woman an abortion is like dictating what she can do with her own body. I'm not saying that women should use it as a method of birth control, but abortion should be an option for rape victims, teens, and people that can not afford to take care of a child or would abuse the kid.

Yea, I'm pro-choice too... I mean, it disturbs me to no end that you kill an unborn child, but Meganne has all the right reasons there. Or atleast any and all I would've listed.

Same here. I forget how many weeks it is... I think it's three. But during those first three weeks of pregnancy the fetus isn't even considered to be a living human being yet.

I think abortion is wrong, but in some cases i would understand. who would want to be born to some poor crack addicted woman who doesn't know she's pregnant.

I agree with Zanna here it is a lil disturbing that they kill something inside you. But I understand that if they can't pay to look after, feed and care for the child then they should have the choice to kill it before the fetus becomes a child. But if you could afford to look after, feed and care for the child then it is kinda wrong to kill it.

I've changed a lot since I posted this...
I'm pretty much strictly pro-life now.
Unless you're like my friend and have a doctor-recommended abortion.

I used to be Pro-Choice, but I've changed. There is only one circumstance I think in which a baby should be aborted. And that is if the baby was witha drug using mother and it'll come out with health issues. Other then that, If you can't afford it or take care of it, give it up for adoption. So I stand as a strict Pro-Choice.
This is what made me change my hole perspective: Abortion Is BAD

-Twisted Drummer- I used to be Pro-Choice, but I've changed. -Twisted Drummer- So I stand as a strict Pro-Choice. ... what? Even if the child will have health problems they should still be given a chance at life. You don't abort babies just because they might be Autistic. You don't know if it's going to survive or not. And it's really not up to you to just say "Oh, it could die, I'm just going to abort it anyways." No. Just ******** no.

What I wrote didn't really make sense. I mean there's only one way in which I support abortion. And not if it's autistic. If the doctor is 99% sure the baby will be born with an extreme life altering disformity, like if it's heart is born outside of it's chest, and it has an extremely small chance of survival, then i would consider abortion.

The only way I would ever consider abortion is if having the child would kill me. I don't care how selfish it sounds, no one really wants to die and they really aren't going to risk their life if they know that they don't have to.
Doctors can be wrong.
Not that this has anything to do with birth, but I have a few good examples:
My aunt has cancer. She wasn't supposed to live past age like, 9. She's 22/23 this year.
When my grandfather had a heart attack, the doctors said they were almost sure he wasn't going to make it. And that he had like, a 10% chance of survival. The next night that 10% became 100%.
Doctors are not "God." They are human, they make mistakes. Their job is to make an educated guess (hypothesis).

Do fathers get no say so when it comes to abortions? We recently had an abortion situation in our family.
