Good news. The guild re-haul went smoothly~ Almost everything is opening today. There's a super secret sub-forum that's still being worked on, as well as some other things, but hey! Some things are better than nothing at all, right?
Let me break it all down for you.
Roleplay Subforum:
Not much was done here, yet. We're working on a few things, and the RP rules will get a fine tune. Biggest change is that the premade areas were deleted. No one really seemed to use them anyway. >:
Wayward Journals Subforum:
Nothing was changed here at all.
Super Duper Owner Perks Subforum was changed to an Event Subforum.
All in-guild events will now be held here. This forum will be locked unless there is a event happening. If you would like to have a raffle or an RP contest for an extra breeding baby, feel free to PM the mule to arrange it. <3
Wayward Quests Subforum:
This has pretty much been entirely redone. Please read the threads: Quest Forum Guidelines and Charity Information. The Self-Wayward thread has also been moved to here.
*Please Note: If you currently have a quest thread in the guild, please mark it as active in the title if you are using it. By November 15th, all threads that do not have active in the title will be deleted.
Breeding, Customs, Cosplay Information
A lot has been done here as well.
There is now a Lifemate List/Request thread. All previous lifemates are null, and need to be reposted properly. Lifemates now have perks, such as guarenteed 3-4 babies. Edited may still be chosen.
All custom information has been consolidated into one thread, as well as all breeding information. Breeding rules have been redone. The biggest changes are:
- only adults and perma-teens may breed; any breeding will produce between 2-3 babies (unless a lifemate);
- Waywards can breed once every two months, two months from the time certs are posted for the babies of the last breeding;
- a new adult Wayward cannot breed for a month after it is made while a growing Wayward cannot breed until it reaches adult;
- upon obtaining a breeding, there will be a two week "pregnancy period", where you may RP your pet as being pregnant. Your babies will be posted at the end of the two week period;
- each person is only allowed 1 breeding per month, regardless of bribes or slots, edited or unedited;
- each person is only allowed to keep one baby per breeding.

The reserve list has been re-done. This is perhaps one of our biggest updates. From now until November 15th, you are free to change your reserves around, add and remove things. After November 15th, you will not be allowed to post any changes until you have lowered your reserve count to 2. From now on, each person may only be allowed to have two reserves. You will be allowed to keep your current reserves, but will not be able to reserve more than two afterwards. The reserve system has also been streamlined. Reserves are posted in the reserve list, ALL commissions are posted in the Cosplay Lists thread. The Cosplay Lists thread has all current cosplays and all commissioned cosplays. From now on, you only need to check the reserve list and the cosplay list thread when reserving or commissioning a cosplay.

Nothing has changed here either.
Owners Lists
Still has the owners lists, but it also now has a Co-Owner Agreement Thread. From now on, all co-owns will need to be posted here, using the proper form.

It may take a few days to update the front thread to match the guild, but as of this post, the guild is officially re-opened! Please make sure you check everything out. <3 We're trying to make things easier for everyone and make the shop a better experience.
Speaking of that. I'd also like to re-touch on the previous announcement. From what I've seen, things have been going pretty good. <3 I'd just like to remind you guys about RP. We're not trying to eliminate RP in the main thread! We'd just like those RPing to keep an eye out. Some RP has headed toward a bit risqué in the past, and has made some people uncomfortable. Anything that seems like its pushing it a bit should be kept to PMs, IMs, and the guild (though anything really risqué shouldn't be posted in the guild). And don't forget to try to greet everyone and have a conversation as well as your RP! It makes the shop a more friendly place. <3
Also, around the middle of November, we'll also be opening hiring, I think. Hopefully we'll get some great staff and we can have a great event very soon!

Unfortunately, now that I'm motivated to come back, I'm stuck without internet at home for a while. =/ I'm not sure exactly how long - Might be a few days, or might be a month. I suspect the wireless card in my laptop is dead.
In any case, I can get online at work, so I'm going to be saving things I need and bringing them home so I can work on things. I'm also going to work on setting up a hiring thread ASAP.
If I owe anybody anything, I'd like you to send me a PM reminding me exactly what. It might be that I didn't forget, but I know there are things I've forgotten, and I don't want to miss anything. >>;
So please let me know if I said I'd do anything for you, even if it wasn't something you were paying for (growing old pets and the like). I still want to get these things done.

I really need your help. I haven't been getting any hours at work, and I have rent and bills to pay. And now that school's done and over with, I won't get another student loan for 4 months. I don't have enough money for this month's rent, and my mom is really getting tired of borrowing money for me to bail me out.
In short, I desperately need cash. .__. Like everyone else these days, eh? If you've got some cash to spare though... Hi guys. I've been pretty absent the past few weeks, as you've likely noticed. I finished college and went on to my five-week workterm with the government. Making the adjustment from 4 hours of class a day to an 8:30-4 workday has me a lot busier than I used to be, and a lot lazier when I get home. P:
I am, however, going to try and get caught up on what I owe, which really only amounts to two breedings and finishing off a coloring job for an uber. I've got a long weekend, half of which will be spent on a Harry Potter movie marathon with my dorky friend. 8D But I'm going to give myself a kick in the a** and try to do work in between.
I'm also going to get the newbie/charity event kickstarted soon. We've been rather lax on our new monthly schedule due to trying to prepare for those events.
TL;DR - I'm going to try and be around more, and get more work done. =D
Oh, and I'm going to be opening RL uber slots when I'm caught up, with lines contributed by my boyfriend (who is far better at anatomy than me xD), and a discounted price~ If anyone is interested, please do contact me. I'll probably make another small announcement when I open them as well.

In the forum there are numerous threads. Each colorist has their own thread, which will be used like the naming thread we had before. When you receive a pet from a colorist, you take it to the new subforum, find their thread, and then using the appropriate form, post your pet there for certing. When its been certed, it will be posted in the cert drop off thread.
We also have a cert correction/re-cert thread. This is for any corrections that might need to be done to your cert, fixing a typo, incorrect gen number, what have you. You can also post here if you wish to re-cert your pet for a fee, with a new user name, whatever.
As well, there's an uncert request thread! You can now request for certs of your non-custom pets. Please keep in mind that not all colorists keep all the uncerts, and you may not be able to get some.

Kara is the right hand of god. Though I guess that implies I'm god, or something. >_>; ... Either way. She's taken care of things while I've been slacking off, and contributed far more than she ever needed to to the shop. So when I catch wind of people giving her crap about shop-related things that she isn't even obligated to do, I want to smack people.
So please, people. Treat Kara like you would an owner of the shop. I'd give her a chunk of the title if I thought she'd accept it.
Also the other staff members who have stuck around and kept things alive are really awesome too. ._. <3
October 26th, 2009: Despite the freeze, we still have a Halloween event! <3 Had some leftover waywards from last year that were never used.
August 17th, 2009: The shop-wide freeze is still in effect, but don't forget that we'll be holding two large events once it ends!

June 21, 2009: WaywardChildrenPound Important Announcement! For a long time now, the shop has been on somewhat of a steady decline - Almost all of our staff members have a major backlog of work at all times, new pets have been coming about primarily through bribes, the shop is not as newbie-friendly as it should/could be, etc. As a group, the staff members have discussed ways in which we can address these problems, the most drastic of these being: There will be a shop-wide freeze in effect for the next month. This means no customs, breedings, bribes, events, no anything. No new pets will be made, reserved, or anything else. This is the main step in our goal of having all of our staff members completely up to date on their work. After the freeze ends, there will be individual freezes in effect for each individual colorist, until such time that all of their backlogged work is finished. After the freeze, we will be putting in place new, stricter regulations for staff members regarding bribes, amongst other things, to ensure that nobody gets this far behind again. Also, after the main freeze ends, we will be holding a large newbie event, as well as charity events for both newbies and regulars. --- Also, I regret to announce that since Ajax's new computer won't let her install Photoshop, she won't be able to be staff at the shop anymore. D: We'll miss you on the team, Ajax, and of course still welcome you as one of our regulars. <3
May 17, 2009: WaywardChildrenPound Announcement!Unfortunately, I'm not here to spread luff to the thread like the rest of you. Due to some misunderstandings surrounding breeding permissions, we thought it would be best to start an official thread. Any breedings from this date on, May 17th, 2009, will need permission by both owners posted in this thread. There will be no exceptions. Please note, this is not retroactive, and therefore does not apply to breedings commissioned before this date. However, any planned breedings you might have made before this date will need permission before the breeding can go through. Any breedings commissioned without permission posted by both owners will be treated as a serious offence. You will receive one warning. If it happens again, you will be grey listed. Colourists, I know it sucks, but please check the permissions thread before accepting a breeding, especially a bribe. The list will be kept up to date, and you'll just have to CTRL+F to find your pairing. Thanks for reading this, and please take a moment to read over the permissions tread. heart

Real life's got me far more busy than I ever have been - I'm in school full time, and actually bother going/doing my work unlike when I was at university last year. 8D; ... I have a boyfriend who's always around distracting me. And I just started a part-time job. So yeah, I'm pretty busy.

I haven't been able to find my tablet pen for a few months now. >>; So even when I did have spare time/felt like working on stuff, I haven't been able to.
However!
The urge to do stuff has been gnawing at me a lot lately, and I'll be back on my feet money-wise in a month or two, with my new job. So I decided I'd buy myself a new pen. =D
So I was squirming and wanting to work on stuff, hating that it'll take me at least a month to be able to buy one, plus the shipping time to get it, and Chobi, big ball of awesomeness that she is, offered to do a couple of RL commissions and toss me the money so I could get my pen a lot earlier. :3 *pings lots of love at* <33
So! Chobi has two RL commission cosplay slots open, at the usual price, the proceeds going to me being able to get my a** in gear and get everyone the stuff that's way overdue. o.< It's a good cause! ... *shot* xD;

We're reorganizing our Photobucket! (Yeah, a lot of shops seem to be doing this. xD)
It takes a long time to load 1000 images when you're doing growings, so we're organizing into folders by species with a limited amount of images in each folder.
What this means is that all of the links will be changed. If you direct link, your pets will be temporarily unavailable.
When the reorganization is over, your links will still be useless, but we'll tell you how to get the new ones. <3
Colorists, your PB access will be denied during this time. xD; People uploading things while I try to move them around will confuse me. When it's all done and over with, I'll post a notice in the Chamberpot on how to upload things into the proper folders. <3

And~ From now on, we would like you to post in the commissioned list when you commission a cosplay. You only need to do this if the cosplay is not on your reserve list. If it is, we would like you to just post there as you have been doing. This way someone won't reserve or order something you've already ordered. :3 Thank you!
