What would your H.P. soundtrack be? Like for the first year, seconded years etc...

EDIT: I am not so sure what mine would be but I am going to try.

Mine:
Book One: Belle and Sebastian - By with the Arab strap Soundtrack.

Book Two:

Book Three:

Book Four:

Book Five:

Book Six: Placebo - Every you every me, Ministry of Magic - Snape verses Snape,

Book Seven: Rainer Maria - Artificial Light, Air - Run,

These are just a few songs that remind me of the Harry Potter, I will keep adding more.

Aw, I got all excited when I read your thread title, I thought it would be in depth discussion on the Harry Potter scores by John Williams.

I'm going to go ahead and pretend that was the question you posed.

OH! John Williams is my favourite composer. His themes he created for Harry Potter are wonderful, especially the Quidditch theme, "window to the past" and of course Hedwig's theme. I've always found John Williams to be one of the most versatile composers of all time, and his work on Harry Potter reinforces this. I love the progression in the first three soundtracks (the ones composed by him) and how the third soundtrack is so lyrical. He really outdid himself on that one.

Patrick Doyle and Nicholas Hooper both do respectable jobs (except Voldemort's theme from the fourth movie) but they could never outshine John Williams, I hope hope hope he comes back to score the final Harry Potter movie(s) (If 7th is being split into two)

I don't usually associate too much music with HP (outside of wizard rock, obviously), aside from one song: Mrs. Potter's Lullabye, by Counting Crows. That song just screams Snape. I'd definitely include it in the seventh movie, because it couldn't fit anywhere else, hah. But it is a really gorgeous song. 3nodding

I love "Window to the Past". I have it on my IPod. xD
I also love this one song... I forgot the title. I'm pretty much hopeless at the moment, so I doubt I'll figure it out before tomorrow. I'm exhausted. -___-'
