Now that I have finally found and been invited to a guild of Cold Case fans and have a bunch of members all together, I was wondering. If I were to make a Cold Case RP, would any of you join it? Or hell now if you have any cool ideas then you got the idea to start an rp xD. I still need to come up with a plot, but I am mainly searching for semi-literate-literate roleplayers to make one awesome roleplay. XD Be sure to list anything you don't like in rps, things that make you not want to join and etc. so I know what to avoid.

I'd totally join, Cold Case is my favorite show. But how would we figure out the crime in an RP, it would be kinda hard to do unless somebody outlined the plot from the start and played the clue giver and the people playing as the squad would evaluate the clues and piece together the thing, maybe the clue giver person could do the flasbacks too.
I think the things that are bad about RPs is when some people don't want something to occur and act angry about it rather than being straightforward and calm.

I think the things that are bad about RPs is when some people don't want something to occur and act angry about it rather than being straightforward and calm. Awesome! Especially since you seem to be a literate type of person^^. I think that would be a good idea, what I was thinking of doing in case that did not work was think of a case they could be doing and something traumatic happening and them working through it. But I also don't want it to be too random either sweatdrop . If we did the clue giver and flashback manager idea, we could switch it up every week so others can throw in some ideas as well. As long as the character they played did not automatically know who the killer is, that way it is still realistic.
I think I get what you mean, I should also ask if people are opposed to original characters being added or not. As long as they are not sues I don't mind them, but some literate people do. But if I did, I think I would wait until a good portion of the original cast was taken before I allowed people to join as their own characters.

I love the idea. Especially the idea of there being a clue-giver. Maybe there could be like... two teams or something. The suspects and the squad. And well... I guess the person who sets the plot. And the person who thought up the plot could tell the suspects certain things... Like where they were the night of. Ha ha I don't know. It sounds fun haha.

A Cold Case RP would be amazingly cool! I'd just say to not go too far away from the Cold Case plot. Characters and such are fine to get away from, but please don't make something magical happen, just like it would in the show!
