hey everyone wats up? im new to this guild! and by the way, harvest moon caught my eye in ign.com, and after a look at harvest moon ds i wanna play so bad!! can anyone tell me more about wat u can do in harvest moon? im luvin how it goes by real time jus like animal crossing! lol but yea can anyone tell me EVERYTHING about harvest moon? i really really wanna buy it! lol and tell me everything u can do. mrgreen

Well it's really hard to tell you everything about harvest moon in one shot. It's way too awsome!!! That and a lot of the game are pretty different. Of course pretty much every game focuses or includes farming but not all games require you to actually do that much farming. And some have set storylines and some you can get married. There are different bachelros and bachelorettes for pretty much every game. You can also get a kid!
Anyway as you can see there's a lot of stuff to cover. HM DS is kinda like Magical Melody in my mind in the sense that you have to do a lot of different tasks to rescue the sprites like you would to collect notes in MM.
So is there anything more specific you want to know?

yea! first that is so awesome! and yea, im plannin to get happiness island!! and tell me do the ds harvest moons go by real time? like animal crossing does? and do u fite? like u do in rune factory? like can u get weapons and such? question smile

It's not exactly real time --not like Animal Crossing-- but it does have time passage and a calendar. Actually, the time system isn't that different from AC, but time passes a bit more quickly. I've gotten through a year of the game in one real week, for example.
And as far as I know, the weapons and fighting are only in Rune Factory.

Basically all you do is farm animals and crops and raise a family.
