Kukki sat around by some hot springs, enjoying the feel of the steam on his fur, or crust one could call it. He still couldn't believe that he was a father now, it seemed much too good to be true. They all looked so much like their mother, all of them that is except for poor Jasper. Kukki hoped that he didn't feel too left out because of that.

Jasper didn't feel left out, not really anyway. He just felt different form all his siblings. He was the only one like his father and it was a little hagging when he was around others his age. Everyone wanted to take a bite out of him! Literally! He sighed, and eventually spotted his father, it was time to have a nice Father/Son conversation with him!
"Daddy! How do you deal with it?" He asked with a deep sigh and breathed in the steamy air.

Kukki looked over at his son and smiled. "What do you mean by is, Jasper?" he asked. He assumed he meant the fact that he was a cookie by birth, and that meant he was edible as one as well. He wanted to make sure though that is what he meant.

Jasper whined and then cuddled up to his father. His father was really the only person he could talk to about being an edible Namir. Anyone else, just wouldn't understand. "Daddy! People are always trying to eat me! How could you possible stand being edible? It's sooo unfair! Nazzy, Dulci, and Shani aren't edible! So why am I?" He whined more and nuzzled into his father. It was just so annoying!

Kukki rubbed his son on the head and chuckled. "You learn to love it Jasper, it grows on you." he then took ahold of his own ear and broke it off, and then again in half. He handed ne peice to Jasper and began to nibble on the other.

Jasper sighed ad took a peice of his fathers ear and nibbled at it for a second. "But...it's annoying when someone only likes you because you taste good!" He said, sighing deeply. He rolled his eyes and looked away when he asked his next question.
"How did you and Mama meet? She didn't try to eat you did she?" He asked, peeking out of the corner of his bright eyes to study his reaction.

Kukki laughed as he recalled how he had met Aderyn. "Well, your mother was still very new around thses parts. When I saw here, I actually pounced onto her tail and she mistook me for a kit. She freaked herself out, thinking that I was going to be burned and whatnot, and I stopped that worry by offering her a peice of my tail."

Jasper couldn't help but laugh at that. Both of his parents were so spazzy, though it was obvious that his mother was the calmer of the two. "I bet that was really funny to watch! I think it's cool how Mama's fire doesn't burn! Still...'m shocked she didn't try to eat you after she tasted your tail! Do you think I'll find someone like Mama someday?" He asked, tilting his head lightly. He really had some self-esteem issues.

Kukki smiled softly and rubbed his head some more. "Of course you will son, but don't go looking for it. You never know when love will strike, and you never know with whom!" He laughed as he finished talking.

Jasper 'hmmh' playfully and then sighed. "Pssh! Like I'd wants a girl anyway! I just home they like chocolate and don't take bites out of me while I'm sleeping!" He whined playfully and rolled onto his back to he could relax in the steam better. Talking with his father always made him feel better, however it wouldn't be long before he thought up another question for him.

Kukki laughed. "So you're like Nazzy too? That's something unexpected." He half-joked about it, but was slightly disappointed that Nazzy was appearing to become gay. He lay back as well and took a breath in of that sweet, steamy scent.

Jasper laughed and pawed his father playfully. He knew Nazzy acted a little odd, but Jasper wasn't like that. He was totally in love with the opposite gender! Why did his father think he was asking him all these weird questions? "Daddy! Silly! I'm only kidding! I just don't want a girl yet!" He said, rolling his bright eyes lightly.

Jasper giggled lightly, it sounded a little weird. Considering he was so serious only second before. Of course, he had become accustomed to his own mood swings by now, so he enjoyed the change, as if it really hadn't happened at all. As far as he was concerned, he'd been giddy all along!
"Thanks Daddy! But I still think it's awfully inconvenient!" He said, sighing again, but patting his father with his paw playfully.

Kukki laughed as he gave Jasper a small smirk. "Inconvenient you say? Being edible, and a cookie none the less, is one of the most convenient things in the world. To say the least your relationship would never grow dull when you find someone you like."
