ladies and gentlemen... konami official suikoden V website: Suikoden Vso far, here's the background: the story takes place in the Queendom of FALENA!!! WAAAAH!! Lorelai and Killey anyone? anyway, you play as the prince, heir to the throne of the freeland of Falena... but it won't be free for too long (impending invasion?) using one of the 27 runes: the sun rune. The new hero reminds me of Jowi Atreides wearing something that Hugo would wear sweatdrop the good news is, the 6-member battle system is back, WHOOPEE!! xd five new characters confirmed: hero Rion Alshutatto Falenas Fuerido GEORG?!?!?! OMG!!! 1st Returning character??

anyway... i just remembered that georg isn't one-eyed so that can't be the same georg -- or is it? if we look back to georg prime's profile, we'll see that he WAS in Falena. The ffg. is excerpt from suikosource.com : Georg Prime (Teni Star) Origin: Queendom of Falena Position: Ex-General Events: Succession War, Dunan Unification War Georg was once a Queen's Knight in the kingdom of Falena, but was blamed to have murdered the queen and became a fugitive (He really did kill her though). Since then, he became the leader of the Ebony Moon Knights in the Grasslands, and then was recruited by Barbarossa Rugner as one of his Six Great Generals during the Succession War. After the Succession War was over, he left because he had "fulfilled his promise." He then fought against Highland during the Dunan Unification Wars. He is one of the best swordsman known in the lands. so... is this georg THE georg prime of gs2??

From what I've read in most messageboards, it seems that that eye-patched male is indeed Georg. Why he has an eye-patch is still anyone's guess.
Some other speculation is that Lorelai is also in, and there is a female in the trailer that does look remarkably like Lorelai without the cape. Only time will tell. smile

since Georg Prime of gs2 is there, based from his appearance and background it seems like this happened even before suikoden 1.
ah, and according to suikosource.com forums, Viki is confirmed. Although they didn't see her in the trailer, her dialogue was at the opening. The usual, "Huh, where am i?" speech sweatdrop
also, the character designs are done by Fuma Ishikawa who also did the gs2 and 3 character designs (YAY!). Honestly I didn't like Junko Kawano's (gs1 and 4) character designs so I'm very happy that Fuma Ishikawa did this one.

Did a little checking with my sister who has replayed the game 10+ times, and she says that the side that we see in Georg's profile in SII is the side without the eyepatch. Considering the fact that his portrait never revealed how his other side looked like, it could be possible that Georg had the eyepatch all along. (I think) And Maiden of Night: Both of us share the same birthday. Awesome! whee

Both S5 and S Tactics are up for preorder. I should know I just did it today. When Suikoden is this one after? They just had to go out of order, although the returning character in the last game was awsome. www.rpgamer.com has a 10 minute trailer that you can watch. Awsome stuff. Just take a wild guess at who's talking in the beginning of it, since it comes with subtitles that lets you understand what they are saying.

You bet it is. Happy birthday to you too! biggrin Quote: i can't play any of the japanese games cause i don't have a translater, i'm tryong to get one over the internet right now though. Suikoden II is in English, which I'm sure will be much easier for you to understand. You'll have to look around for it online, though- the ones sold at the shops are crazy-expensive, or so I've heard. Quote: Does anyone know where to go to get a translation program? I can't read the offical site Google translations? Or try searching around on download.com, I guess.
